Elden Ring Nightreign Servers Will Go Offline for a Few Hours Soon

The popular game “Elden Ring Nightreign” will be temporarily going offline for maintenance shortly. A year ago, none of us could have imagined a multiplayer/cooperative version of “Elden Ring.” Released in 2022, “Elden Ring” became one of the highest-selling games ever and its success was unprecedented. While we knew it would be a hit, the extent to which it succeeded was extraordinary. Although the game’s creators haven’t announced plans for “Elden Ring 2,” they aren’t letting this successful IP gather dust.

Elden Ring Nightreign, which was a total surprise when announced last December, initially left some fans believing it might be additional content (DLC) after watching the trailer during The Game Awards. However, it was later confirmed that the game had been in secret development for quite some time. Now, Elden Ring Nightreign has officially launched, and players are thoroughly enjoying it. In just its first weekend, the game has already attracted a massive number of players with over half a million concurrent players on Steam, demonstrating strong interest in the title. Additionally, an Elden Ring movie has also been announced. Whether the game will maintain its popularity remains to be seen, but FromSoftware seems committed to providing updates and content to keep fans engaged.

On Monday, June 2nd, FromSoftware has planned a brief maintenance period for Elden Ring: Nightreign’s servers, which will last approximately 3 hours, starting at 1AM PT/4AM ET. During this time, players won’t have access to the game due to a new update being installed. Although we don’t know exactly what changes the update will bring, it’s hoped that it will address some persistent issues within the game. Since most U.S. residents will likely be asleep during this maintenance window and those abroad will probably be at work or school, it’s an ideal time for the maintenance to occur. However, it may prove inconvenient for players trying to enjoy a late-night gaming session, but rest assured, this downtime is only temporary.

On Monday, June 2nd, 2025, Elden Ring servers will be undergoing maintenance to release Patch 1.01.1. This maintenance starts at 1:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), 10:00 Central European Summer Time (CEST), and 17:00 Japan Standard Time (JST). The process will continue for three hours across all platforms. Your understanding is appreciated as you wait for the service to be restored.

As a diehard fan, I can’t contain my excitement after reading Nightreign’s Elden Ring received a 4.5 out of 5 from ComicBook! The boss fights and cooperative play are simply outstanding, making it the best FromSoftware game I’ve looked forward to since its launch. In fact, Nightreign seems to have built an exceptional foundation for an online-centric game, so I eagerly await what the future holds – more than I ever did for any of FromSoftware’s previous titles!

What do you think of the game? Let me know in the comments.
