The gender identity of the main character, Saint Trina, is not definitive. Some sources suggest that she might be male, while others believe she’s female.

Shortly following this intersection, the player encounters Saint Trina, suggesting that she represents the affection that Miquella abandoned. As per Thiollier’s dialogue within the game, Saint Trina is referred to as the “discarded piece” of Miquella.

Even after Miquella left her, Trina remains devoted to him, so much so that she implores the player to end Miquella’s life. She believes that godhood would imprison Miquella, binding him with chains of divinity and the weighty responsibilities that come with it.

St. Trina’s most notable abilities revolve around dreams and slumber. It is believed she manifests in the dreams of her believers, providing them with a peaceful rest. Moreover, she has the capacity to create a nectar that induces profound slumber in her followers. However, this same potion is toxic to many others, causing an eternal sleep from which they cannot awaken. Upon entering the realm of shadows, her powers evolve further, bestowing upon her the power of Everlasting Sleep, rendering even her devout follower, Thiollier, incapable of resisting its effects.

In the game, consuming Saint Trina’s nectar results in a permanent slumber for the player, essentially causing their death. Saint Trina’s Lily is utilized to make Sleepbone Arrows and sleep potions, both of which induce drowsiness over time. The Sword of Saint Trina and its counterpart share similar effects, causing both temporary and eternal sleep accumulation respectively.
