The sense of discovery and adventure was palpable as I traversed Gravesite Plain, following the instructions to reach these ancient relics.
In the standard version of Elden Ring, ruins serve as a familiar setting where players can collect some goods, including the occasional rare item hidden in a chest. However, ruins in the DLC present a new challenge. They are expansive and may house several mini-bosses that roam around. Players must defeat these foes to claim all the treasures.

How To Get To Scorched Ruins In Shadow Of The Erdtree
Following your encounter with the Withered Arm in that location, you’ll be taken to the Realm of Shadow. Exit the small cave to reach Gravesite Plain, the initial part of the DLC expansion. You’ll find a Grace there for you to use. Starting from the Grace at Gravesite Plain, travel northeast on your Torrent, and you’ll eventually encounter the Scorched Ruins with a nearby Site of Grace to the north.
All Items Found Within Scorched Ruins
At the Scorched Ruins’ remnant of hope, call upon your steed, Torrent, and journey southward, keeping the wall on your right as a guide. Once the structure on your right ceases to exist, make a left turn towards the west. You’ll encounter a tiny, shattered staircase with numerous Shadow adversaries nearby. Ransack the corpse perched atop the staircase to obtain the Greater Potentate’s Cookbook [1].
If you’re a fan following my lead, head down to the southernmost part of the ground level. There, you’ll encounter more adversaries and a deceased soul guarding the Hefty Cracked Pot for collection. Turn left (west) and keep an eye out for a structure swathed in fabric. Use your Spectral Steed to leap up and gain entry. Travel northward, shatter into the derelict building, and ascend the stairs. Pass through the entrance and veer right to confront a makeshift bridge. Cross it and look to the left to discover a gate you can unlock. Behind this door lies a chest harboring the precious Blade of Mercy Talisman.
