Elden Ring’s Secret Classes Revealed: Sekiro Returns!

Information about the last two character classes for Elden Ring Nightreign, an upcoming cooperative spin-off by FromSoftware, has been leaked online. These classes are a tribute to the Soulsborne genre created by the studio and even incorporate elements from previous games like Dark Souls enemies and mechanics similar to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Elden Ring Nightreign revives Sekiro

A recent leak on social media unveils miniature replica keychains of the last two Elden Ring Nightreign character classes in Japan. These keychains provide a sneak peek at the final, as yet unannounced character classes for the upcoming multiplayer game, revealing them to be Executor and Revenant.

Shadows Die Twice. This class allows players to swiftly block incoming attacks by “calling forth” or “invoking” their katana.

Although legal rights restrictions prevent FromSoftware from directly reusing enemy designs and characters from the original game, this new class can be seen as our closest approximation to a sequel.

In the second class, known as the Revenant, players gain the ability to conjure spectral skeletons for combat or defense against adversaries. A recent leak shows that these summoners wield harps to bring forth their minions in battle.

The game titled Elden Ring: Nightreign marks the initial foray into multiplayer territory for FromSoftware, deviating from their usual emphasis on solo gaming experiences. For now, they’re concentrating on a double dose of multiplayer action with the launches of both Nightreign and The Duskbloods. However, CEO Hidetaka Miyazaki assures us that there will be more single-player games coming from them in the future.
