Elgato Stream Deck+ Gets Two New Hardware Extensions

As a seasoned gamer and content creator with a cluttered desk filled with various devices, I can’t help but feel elated by Elgato’s latest additions to their Stream Deck+ controller. The XLR Dock and USB Hub extensions offer a breath of fresh air in my chaotic setup.

An essential piece of PC hardware that boasts great adaptability is seeing increased utilization, with Elgato unveiling the introduction of two new accessories for its Stream Deck+ controller: an XLR Dock and a USB Hub.

Jörg Gohlke, Elgato’s Senior Engineering Manager, stated in a press release that creators often face the challenge of large creator hardware taking up ample space yet delivering limited functionality. However, extensions such as XLR Dock and Stream Deck offer not only enhanced workflows but also occupy less room. Instead of relying on numerous devices, why not achieve more with just one?

As a devoted content creator, I’m thrilled about the XLR Dock and Stream Deck+ combo. With this setup, I can directly connect my microphone to the Stream Deck+ without requiring an additional interface, streamlining my workflow. Additionally, the USB Hub that comes with it is a game-changer for me. It’s equipped with two USB-A 3.0 and two USB-C ports, allowing me to transfer files at remarkable speeds of up to 5 Gb/s. Moreover, there are two USB-C ports: one with a 65W uplink capacity and another compatible with a 100W adapter, providing ample power for my devices.

Both the XLR Dock and USB Hub are available to purchase today via Elgato’s website.
