A special Hitman mission featuring Eminem will be available to play from December 1st to 31st. Players can purchase access to the mission during that time.
Hitman: World of Assassination has featured a lot of popular characters, but the addition of Eminem is arguably the most significant yet. After recently becoming a gamer and appearing as a skin and performing a concert in Fortnite, Eminem has now joined the world of Hitman.
Eminem is a Fellow Operative in Hitman: World of Assassination
The next special mission in Hitman: World of Assassination will feature Eminem as a key character. He’ll play a fellow agent who briefs Agent 47 on a mission to investigate the troubled past of Eminem’s alter ego, Slim Shady. According to the game’s description, Eminem achieved fame through Slim Shady, but his recent album, “The Death of Slim Shady,” suggests he’s trying to leave that persona behind – though it appears Slim Shady’s influence still lingers.
The new level takes players inside a distorted and dreamlike world reflecting the troubled mind of Slim Shady. The setting is a medical facility in Hokkaido, reimagined as the unsettling Popsomp Hills Asylum.
As Agent 47, players will enter a strange and unsettling location where the lines between doctors, patients, and performers are blurred. They’ll find Eminem performing unpredictable live shows in a professional broadcasting studio for an audience of both staff and prisoners. The mission will also include references to Eminem, such as a poisoned Spaghetti Sandwich served at his in-game restaurant.
From December 1st to 31st, you can buy the Eminem vs. Slim Shady pack for Hitman: World of Assassination for $4.99, €4.99, or £3.99. The pack includes a new suit, four unique items, and customization options for your home base, all themed around the mission.
Also in gaming news, the developers of the 007 First Light game have clarified that it’s not simply a re-branded version of Hitman. Bruce Lee was the last character added to the game.
