Enshrouded: Bard Ancient Vault Guide

Enshrouded: Bard Ancient Vault Guide

As a seasoned Enshrouded adventurer with over 300 hours under my belt, I can wholeheartedly vouch for the charm that the Bard brings to this mystical world. Her melodious tunes and enchanting instruments have brought joy and liveliness to countless bases across the realm.

In the game Enshrouded, The Bard is among the artisans that players have the opportunity to unveil. Unlike other craftspeople, she excels in providing entertainment. By unlocking her, you gain access to diverse musical instruments which can be enjoyed by both yourself and fellow players, thereby adding a jovial vibe to your game base.

As a level 12 gamer in this fantastical world, I stumbled upon an intriguing character during my quest called “Follow the Melody.” This mission only becomes accessible once you’ve climbed the Revelwood Ancient Spire and hit level 12. This Bard is quite the craftswoman, capable of creating some truly unique and helpful items. Although she may not be a top rescue priority, saving her is crucial if I want to gather every artisan in the mystical land of Enshrouded. Here’s how to find her:

How to Open the Bard Ancient Vault in Enshrouded

The ancient crypt housing the Bard lies tucked away in the treacherous Blackmire, a territory suited for players of levels 13 to 15. Prior to embarking on this journey, ensure you have the finest equipment crafted and, if feasible, take along an enhanced Glider. Rest assured, a quest marker will lead you to its hidden location.

In the area surrounding the Old Vault, you’ll find The Bard residing within the central structure. To reach her, you’ll need to discover and activate several concealed levers. It would be wise to acquire the Double Jump ability from the Survivor skill tree as soon as possible. This skill is highly beneficial in Enshrouded, especially since there’s a lot of movement involved in this game.

You can tell where the switches are by looking for lit braziers across the Sunken City.

The First Switch

The first switch is located in a substantial ruin area south of the Ancient Vault structure. You can access this location by either soaring there from the Blackmire spire or by following the route beneath the ruins themselves. Utilize your Double Jump and Grappling Hook to navigate the path, then proceed to the balcony overlooking the Ancient Vault building to locate the switch.

The Second Switch

Commencing at the initial switch, locate another damaged structure nestled by a tree on your left. Navigate towards the tree and employ its roots as a means of ascending to the rooftop of the first floor. Utilize this root again to access the upper level; subsequently, descend to the spot highlighted in the second image above, where you’ll discover another switch. If preferred, venture inside the building and confront numerous hostile flowers en route to a trampoline, which will carry you to the switch.

In the region here, getting to the top of the dilapidated structures might be challenging for players who don’t possess the Ghost Glider in the game Enshrouded. If you can’t access the rooftops, your only option would be to take a longer route by maneuvering through the lower levels of these buildings.

The Third Switch

After flipping the second switch, head towards the trampoline nearby, then locate the dilapidated building to your left. Use the trampoline as a launch pad, propelling yourself into the air, and glide towards that structure. You’ll end up landing on its roof – from there, move to the left side to discover a broken wall you can leap over. Proceed in that direction, jump over the gap in the floor, and simply follow the path that leads to the switch.

Unlocking the Bard

Once you flip all three switches, make your way to the Ancient Vault. Now that all gates are open, proceed inside. You’ll find a long staircase ahead; descend it. Beyond the final gate lies the Bard, peacefully sleeping. She has an array of skills, including crafting musical instruments and home decorations. But what truly matters is her ability to create Medium and Large Backpacks.
