This game has been a personal favorite of mine, offering an immersive and challenging experience that keeps me coming back for more.
Today, Keen Games unveiled an exciting new update for Enshrouded called “Back to the Shroud.” This upgrade introduces challenge levels, new craftable goods, and other enhancements. The developers have included three customizable difficulty settings, expanded character customization, and novel ways to showcase weapons and armor. Moreover, they’ve taken player suggestions seriously by fine-tuning combat and classes for a more balanced experience.
Players have the flexibility to customize the four difficulty settings according to their preferences. Additionally, they can design personalized game modes using thirty different options such as enemy strength, boss vitality, and player powers. In a relaxed mode, you’ll encounter fewer adversaries, giving you an abundance of resources and treasure hoards. Ideal for those who enjoy constructing bases and engaging in less intense exploratory journeys.
As a fan, I’d describe it like this: The game ramps up the challenge by adding more foes and making them more hostile towards me, resulting in a more intense and difficult combat encounter.
For individuals looking for a challenge beyond just fighting off hostile enemies, there’s an option that adds survival elements to the experience.
The Enshrouded update offers new possibilities for character customization, allowing players to experiment with various skin tones, eye colors, and eyebrow styles. Additionally, armors can be effortlessly swapped, and they will be shown alongside their corresponding weapons on mannequins and shelves. In response to player feedback, Keen Games has made adjustments to parrying, blocking, and class balances for both melee and mage classes.
The menus have been revamped, as well as the world borders and certain notable spots. FSR 3 technology has been integrated for enhanced visuals.
