Enshrouded: Salt Mine Location

As an experienced gamer with countless hours logged in various MMOs, I can confidently say that the salt mine in Enshrouded has become one of my favorite spots to grind for resources. The challenge of navigating the enshrouded land and the thrill of battling monsters hidden in the fog adds a layer of excitement that’s simply not present in other games.

In numerous crafting recipes within the game Enshrouded, salt is a crucial ingredient. However, acquiring it isn’t as straightforward as in other games. Unlike gathering salt from seawater, players here must excavate it directly from the environment. Notably, there’s no better location to find salt than within an authentic salt mine.

Fortunately, there’s a readily accessible salt mine that players can reach relatively early in the game with minimal effort. Compared to the intricacies of producing Violet Fabric in Enshrouded, acquiring salt is less troublesome. Once you know the location, you’ll find yourself swimming in this useful crafting resource swiftly.

How to Get to the Salt Mine in Enshrouded

The place players are looking for is called the Egerton Salt Mine, which is located in a valley slightly northwest of the Springlands Ancient Spire. The mine itself is covered in Shroud, and you may need to upgrade your Flame before you can enter it if you’re just starting out.

The simplest method to access the Egerton Salt Mine is by soaring from the Old Tower. To ascend the tower, enter via the ground-level entrance, then traverse the corridors to reach another doorway on an upper level. Once you’ve reached the top, don’t forget to engage with the brazier centrally to activate the spire as a rapid travel spot.

Standing on the uppermost level of the Springlands Ancient Spire, proceed to the northern balcony and gaze westward. You’ll find a way to reach the Egerton Salt Mine (or a location near it) by taking a leap and deploying your glider. If you possess a Ghost Glider in the ‘Enshrouded’ state, you can navigate to the salt mine without worrying about exhausting your stamina or losing height.

Getting Salt in the Egerton Salt Mine

The Egerton Salt Mine lies far beneath hidden terrain, making it potentially lethal for those unacquainted with the region. The map provided pinpoints a platform that leads to and from the salt mine – utilize this spot to replenish your Shroud energy and escape the horrid creatures lurking in the mist. To extend your survival time within the Shroud, carry Shroud potions or acquire the Inner Fires ability from the Survivor skill tree.

If you’re searching for salt, simply step into any of the mine tunnels and seek salt crystals growing on the walls. You’ll find plenty of these throughout the mine, and there are even some tunnels near the scaffold safe zone. Salt deposits can also appear on the walls outside the tunnels. Remember that areas beyond your Flame Altar zones will reset every two hours.
