Enter the Chronosphere gets a new demo for Steam Turn-Based RPG Fest

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must confess that the demo for Enter the Chronosphere piqued my interest like a well-timed dodge roll dodges a hailstorm of bullets. The fusion of turn-based strategy and bullet hell mechanics is an intriguing proposition, one that I’ve not encountered in my extensive gaming journey.

The developer, Developer Effort Star, along with publisher Joystick Ventures, have revealed a fresh demo for PC via Steam, titled Enter the Chronosphere – a captivating blend of turn-based combat and bullet hell elements within the realm of roguelike gaming.

The demonstration for the Turn-Based RPG Festival is set to start on Monday, the 30th of September (which was yesterday if you’re keeping track). It will continue for a full week, ending on another Monday, October 7th.

If it’s your first time in the Chronosphere, things might seem chaotic with all the adversaries swooping around with their intricate attack patterns. However, remember that time only progresses when you do. Becoming an action hero isn’t about quick reactions; it’s about having a sharp mind that can anticipate two steps ahead.

Did you evade by rolling away from the fire, only to find yourself in an even riskier location? Is it wise to make this shot given that other enemy attacks are incoming? Should you use this turn to prepare a powerful ability instead? Maybe it’s better to hold off for a moment, stay safe, and observe the enemies’ next moves? These quick decisions are crucial in this unique blend of roguelike and genre gameplay.

the demo of Chronosphere might not last forever!

We played a build of the game back in May, and thought it was interesting. Mick said: “Until we see more of Enter the Chronosphere besides just the combat it’s unknown whether there’s a hub area or what kind of buffs or unlocks will carry over, but just from the combat alone I’m itching to get my hands on this addictive, moreish indie.”

The publisher announces that this fresh demonstration features a brand-new ecosystem teeming with aggressive insects, and it certainly promises an exciting experience!

Check out the demo here. The release date hasn’t yet been announced.
