Battlestate Games, known for their critically acclaimed extraction shooter Escape from Tarkov, hinted at a possible Steam release in the near future. This subtle clue was dropped by Nikita Buyanov, CEO of Battlestate Games, and also posted on their official social media platforms earlier today.
Arena” became available on the Epic Games Store recently, however, the original version of “Escape from Tarkov” can only be obtained directly from the developers, Battlestate Games, and it requires a specific launcher different from any other platform.

One user on social media pointed out that the given GIF often shows up among the top five results when conducting a search for ‘Steam’.
Escape from Tarkov is expected to transition from beta to a full release on Steam in November, marking its final stage after being in development since 2017. This significant milestone has been years in the making by Battlestate Games. In other words, it’s almost certain that this move signifies nothing other than a Steam release for Escape from Tarkov.
It’s quite logical for Escape from Tarkov to expand its presence and become available on various other launchers and marketplaces in the future. This is particularly relevant now that it’s officially launching as a ‘complete game’.
To set the record straight, it’s important to note that these rumors are currently unverified. I’ve contacted Battlestate Games in hopes of getting some additional insight into the meaning behind these posts. Keep an eye out for more updates soon!
