Escape from Tarkov Update to Ending Changes Zubr Seats Again

Escape from Tarkov recently received an update from Battlestate Games that adjusts the number of seats on the Zubr boat, used at the end of the final mission. This change comes after a previous update limited the boat to only one seat, creating a difficult situation for groups of players trying to complete the mission together.

Battlestate Games has attempted to create a fair experience, but the latest feature still means there’s a risk players might not survive their time in Tarkov.

It’s Not Worth Completing Tarkov With a Squad

Battlestate Games recently faced criticism for limiting successful extractions from Tarkov to only one player after completing the final mission. Many players found this too difficult, and after receiving feedback, the developers have implemented a new adjustment.

As a huge Escape from Tarkov player, I’m really excited about this change! It means if I squad up with two friends or play with a duo, we’re guaranteed to get a spot on the Zubr to finish the raid. No more fighting over who gets to exfil – everyone makes it out if we work together! It’s a big relief and should make playing with friends way more enjoyable.

Teams of four or five players might find limited space on the Zubr boat. According to the latest Tarkov update, a group of four players will have either three or four available spots. Larger teams of five players will have four or five spots.

A technical update has been applied to #EscapefromTarkov. The game will remain online, but raids on servers receiving the update may be shortened to 10 minutes.

We’ve also adjusted the number of players allowed at the Terminal on the Zubr map:

You won’t know how many spaces are available on the Zubr until you actually arrive. Then, you’ll have to decide who doesn’t make the cut – and likely won’t survive.

Playing the final mission in Escape from Tarkov with a large squad isn’t usually the best approach. For a successful and complete ending, it’s recommended to tackle it with just two friends, ensuring you all finish the game without being sent back to the start.
