The new ‘Terminal’ map in Escape from Tarkov became accessible today, ending a period of speculation. It was added with the game’s recent 1.0 update, but players hadn’t been able to enter it until a streamer successfully accessed it first.
Nikita Buyanov, the lead behind Escape from Tarkov, confirmed that TIGZ successfully entered Terminal and completed the game’s final mission.
How Do You Get Into Terminal in Tarkov
To unlock Terminal in Escape from Tarkov, you must first finish all the necessary quests, which involves completing the entire storyline based on your choices throughout the game. After that, you need to go to the Shoreline map between 10 PM and 4 AM and use the TRANSITION POINT located outside the Terminal entrance.
This is the same gate you would have needed to scout very early in the game.,

Once you’ve fulfilled the requirements, you’ll move forward and be shown a cutscene that begins the game’s ending, called ‘The Ticket’.
Your only goal is to reach the Zubr boat through Terminal – it’s the only way to escape from the city of Tarkov. You’ll be in a PvE environment where a major battle is happening. Terminal is under attack, meaning you’ll face a lot of enemies, and you’ll start with absolutely no gear.
TIGZ was the first to reach Terminal, but unfortunately, he died right before finishing the mission and had to start over from the main menu.
This highlights what Nikita mentioned – only a small number of Escape from Tarkov players are able to complete the final mission. It’s incredibly difficult, with a massive wave of enemies unlike anything you’ve faced before.
