Eurasian Wigeon Location in Heartopia

While it’s not available right away, birdwatching quickly becomes one of the most peaceful things to do in Heartopia. It encourages you to take your time and discover new areas as you look for cute birds.

Taking photos of new birds is always rewarding, both for the experience points you earn and for completing your bird collection. Many players find the Eurasian Wigeon particularly difficult to locate, as it often shows up in surprising places and can be easily overlooked. If you’re having trouble finding this bird, here are some helpful locations to check.

Eurasian Wigeon Location in Heartopia

You’ll be able to find the Eurasian Wigeon once you reach Birdwatching level two. After that, it will start appearing near rivers all over Heartopia – it doesn’t live in any one specific area. Be sure to check out the Tranquil River, Shallow River, and Giantwood River to find it.

Check your map and head to a river. Walk along the riverbank, carefully looking for the Eurasian Wigeon. If you don’t spot one immediately, continue walking further along the river. If you still can’t find it, try a different river. We had the most success at the Shallow River near Onsen Mountain. Don’t worry though – Eurasian Wigeons are fairly common, so Heartopians should be able to find one with a little effort.

Eurasian Wigeons can be found spawning at any time, regardless of the weather. However, they are easily startled, so avoid getting too close! To get a good photograph, stay far away and use the zoom feature on your camera.

Birds can have unique poses, so the rarer the pose, the more stars you will earn!

Once you’ve taken your photos, find Bailey J. at the Bird Ringing Station and show her the information cards. She’ll give you rewards like wood and repair kits.

A unique Winter Eurasian Wigeon shows up in rivers and lakes during the Winter event. It’s different from the usual Wigeon – this one has a special scarf to celebrate the winter season, and it’s only available during the event!
