I didn’t really get the Funko Pop craze when they first came out. I could see why people liked them – they’re cute, collectible versions of characters you love, and perfect for displaying. But I’d decided they just weren’t my thing. That all changed when my dad gave me a Funko Pop of Lestat from Interview with the Vampire. Then, suddenly, I understood the appeal.
I’ve been collecting Funko Pop! figures based on the stories and games I love, like Yuri!!! On Ice and Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s a small collection, but each figure means something to me. I’m excited to share that I’ll soon be adding four more to my collection! The new Dungeons & Dragons Funko Pops are coming out in March 2026, and some stores, like Hot Topic, will begin taking preorders in late February. The timing is perfect, as they’ll arrive just before my birthday – I see it as a fun sign from the universe!
Okay, so I’m a huge D&D and Funko Pop collector, and let me tell you, these new figures are seriously cool! They’ve really captured the feel of the Forgotten Realms, with each one having unique details that I’m definitely excited to show off. I’ve been debating which ones are the best for ages, but I finally have my official ranking of the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons Funko Pops – let’s dive in!
4. Pop! Strahd (Shapechanger)
My Funko Pop! collection mostly includes characters from my favorite fandoms and vampires. That’s why it’s disappointing to me that the Pop! figure of Strahd isn’t one of my favorites. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love this version of Count Strahd von Zarovich! However, compared to the other amazing figures released in March 2026, he just doesn’t quite measure up.
The Pop! figure of Strahd is more detailed than many Funko Pops. He’s depicted in ornate armor with a shortsword, fitting for a terrifying vampire lord who’s haunted people for 400 years. What really makes this figure special is the swarm of bats hidden under his right hand. In the Curse of Strahd campaign, Count von Zarovich can transform into a bat, wolf, or mist, and this detail captures that ability even in its miniature form. Even at just 4 inches tall, Strahd remains one of the most powerful villains in Dungeons & Dragons.
3. Pop! Blue Dragon Wyrmling
The Blue Dragon Wyrmling is incredibly cute – right up there with baby Owlbears! It perfectly balances being a little bit scary and completely adorable, with big eyes, pale blue scales, and a curious, rather than aggressive, stance. It really captures the mix of danger and innocence you see in all baby animals, and Funko has done a great job highlighting that. It’s charming, full of personality, and instantly recognizable as a delightful creature.
Despite its quality, this Pop figure is third on my list because it’s quite different from most. While many Pops are based on characters and fit easily into collections, the Blue Dragon Wyrmling is simply a dragon. It doesn’t have a human-like shape or a recognizable face, and it lacks the instant story connection you get with a named character. This might be a problem for collectors who prefer standard Funko designs, but for fans of Dungeons & Dragons, it’s a fantastic piece.
2. Pop! Valindra Shadowmantle
I’m a big fan of the Arcane Brotherhood in Dungeons & Dragons. I’ve always been fascinated by them – so much so that I included them in the backstory of my first Baldur’s Gate 3 character. So, when I heard that Valindra Shadowmantle, a well-known leader from the Brotherhood, was getting a Funko Pop figure, I was incredibly excited!
If you’re not familiar with the world of Dungeons & Dragons, let me explain: Valindra is a powerful villain from the Neverwinter storyline – she orchestrated a major attack on the city and its surrounding areas. Now, Funko Pop has created a figure of her in a creepy, decayed form! This collectible features her tattered robes and a crown that shows her high rank within a dangerous magical guild. For any D&D enthusiast, this Valindra figure is a fantastic addition to their collection, and the clear base gives the illusion that she’s floating. I’m really excited about it!
1. Pop! Premium Lolth the Spider Queen
Like many Dungeons & Dragons fans, I’m really interested in the Drow. I think their backstory provides a great foundation for building interesting characters. However, everything about their culture – their beliefs, what drives them, and their society – ultimately comes down to Lolth, the spider queen. She’s not just another D&D god; she defines the Drow, explaining their constant conflict, rigid rules, and female-dominated power structure. And this Funko Pop figure really captures her essence perfectly.
Funko put a lot of detail into creating the Lolth figurine. They even made sure it looked like the traditional depiction of the character – a beautiful Drow woman – while still being unique. The figure perfectly balances her spider-like features, like terrifying legs and claws, with her established appearance. That’s why it’s my favorite!
