Magic: The Gathering is still bridging with big and well-known franchises through the ongoing Universes Beyond series. Following the massive success of the Final Fantasy series, Magic: The Gathering will soon introduce a Spider-Man set inspired by the character’s extensive history and captivating universe – marking another exciting collaboration.
Prior to its launch, certain cards from the forthcoming Spider-Man set were accidentally disclosed, while Wizards of the Coast unveiled others at gatherings such as the recent San Diego Comic Con. Some of these cards have already attracted attention because of their unique functions within the CCG. For instance, Magic: The Gathering’s Spider-Punk card could potentially create havoc on the battlefield. This set not only offers a wide variety of characters and mechanics but also boasts stunning artwork. Here are all the cards WOTC has revealed so far for this collection.
As of now, this list includes every card that Wizards of the Coast has publicly unveiled on their official site. The complete set is scheduled for release on September 26, 2025.
All Magic: The Gathering Spider-Man Cards Known and Revealed So Far

Black
Just as anticipated due to the color’s characteristic, several cards beneath the black banner showcase some well-known adversaries of Spider-Man, along with other recurring antagonists. Remarkably, different versions of Eddie Brock/Venom and longstanding enemies such as Scorpion and Tombstone are included in the set. Many of these characters possess the traditional traits of this color, like deathtouch and intimidation.
Blue
The manipulation abilities of Blue are demonstrated through an array of cards that offer advantages or enhancements, particularly those that mimic the devices and serums developed by Doctor Octopus and Oscorp. Among these characters who embody Blue are Miguel O’Hara, also known as Spider-Man 2099, and his helpful hologram, Lyla.
Green
Miles Morales, one of the widely recognized Spider-Men, finds his home in green surroundings. Several collectible cards showcase Miles’ distinct spider powers that differ from those of Peter Parker. Additionally, you may come across a few less commonly known characters such as Spider-Rex and Spider-Ham, along with other entertaining additions like Guy in the Chair.
Red
Following in the traditional style of Red’s characteristics within “Magic: The Gathering,” these cards emphasize Spidey’s assertive and rebellious nature, such as the aforementioned Spider-Punk. This character disrupts the system by preventing spells and abilities from being countered, and additionally blocks damage prevention while he’s in play. Other typical Red features include instant cards that deal direct damage and cards with trample or haste abilities.
White
In addition to cards depicting traditional versions of Peter Parker and his array of skills and gadgets, this deck primarily focuses on Spider-Man’s network of friends and associates. The cards in this deck often provide typical boosts like lifelink and adding counters to creatures.
Artifacts
Even though only a small number of these items have been highlighted compared to others, there are still notable additions such as the spider-bot and Iron Spider Suit that stand out.
Multicolor
Over time, Spider-Man has completed numerous well-known forms, including those used by characters such as Doctor Octopus and the Green Goblin. The colorful cards in this collection offer a range of adaptable abilities.
Lands
In Magic: The Gathering, basic lands are straightforward, but each Universes Beyond crossover set designs its artwork and style according to the partner franchise. For instance, the Spider-Man crossover showcases stunning depictions of well-known New York City landmarks. Additionally, one nonbasic land links to Marvel’s growing emphasis on the multiverse, especially in the Spider-Verse animated movies.
It seems that the “Magic: The Gathering” Spider-Man series is set to maintain the successful pattern of crossovers by blending the visual style and gameplay mechanics associated with Spider-Man and his associates, both allies and adversaries. This upcoming release later this year is expected to delight players and fans once more as they immerse themselves in these iconic characters from the Marvel Universe.
