I must say, the creativity and flair that Hirohiko Araki pours into each character design in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is nothing short of breathtaking! Each character stands out with their unique style, yet they all seem to fit perfectly within the universe of JoJo.

In fact, some of these villains’ designs have become iconic due to their immediate recognizability. However, among all these distinctive characters, who has the most unique appearance?

Interestingly, while none of the antagonists in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure have poorly designed looks, some seem to have received a bit more attention from Araki to make them as visually appealing as possible. Given that many male characters from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure at that time were large and muscular, it’s clear that significant focus was placed on making Kars as physically powerful as feasible.

Nevertheless, his lengthy, wavy violet hair and constant scarf give Kars a more vibrant appearance, making him slightly more distinctive. But compared to Joseph’s fashionable design in Part 2, Kars’ look is relatively less striking, sometimes even overshadowed by other villains.

Instead, the design Araki chose effectively highlights some fundamental aspects of his character and ideology.

It’s also an ingenious trick to make the villain appear more appealing by dressing him so fashionably, but it’s unfortunate he didn’t stick around longer for fans to appreciate his stylish attire a bit more.
