Developed by Rare, this game shares many similarities in terms of gameplay and level design with the 1991 arcade version of Battletoads. As a result, players can anticipate experiencing some challenging vehicle levels along with the standard side-scrolling beat-em-up stages.
The recently added version on Nintendo Switch Online is the SNES adaptation of the original game, which followed its initial release on the NES by a few months. Originally launched in arcades back in 1992, the game known as “Cosmo Gang The Puzzle” was later ported to Super Famicom in 1993. While “Cosmo Gang The Puzzle” doesn’t boast many distinctive features not already seen in games like “Tetris” or “Puyo Puyo”, it remains a must-play for enthusiasts interested in Nintendo gaming history.
Big Run
First introduced as an arcade game in 1989, the game titled “Big Run” was later adapted for Super Famicom in March 1991. This early rally racing game invites players to join the main race across Africa, replacing damaged parts and maneuvering through challenging terrains. Although it may seem basic compared to modern racing games, “Big Run” boasts better-than-expected visuals and a touch more complexity than some of its peers from the SNES/Super Famicom era.
