Although new games will continue to be released in December, November 2025 is expected to be the busiest month for releases. Coming in November 2025, the open-world game Of Ash and Steel is shaping up to be a major release. Inspired by classic RPGs like Gothic, it’s designed to be challenging and doesn’t hold your hand. Players will explore a decaying medieval kingdom without the aid of waypoints or markers, learning a complex combat system with various stances and skills. Building relationships is important, but you’ll need to be careful to avoid unnecessary deaths. The game also heavily features survival elements, like managing hunger, which might not appeal to all players.
