Every Pixar Series Without a Character in Disney Dreamlight Valley So Far

As someone who has spent countless hours immersed in the magical world of Pixar, I must say that it brings me immense joy to see my beloved characters grace the virtual landscape of Disney Dreamlight Valley. From Woody and Buzz to Nemo and Dory, each addition feels like a piece of my childhood coming to life once more.

Apart from the characters introduced from Walt Disney Animation Studios in Disney Dreamlight Valley, the game has also incorporated several characters hailing from Pixar Studios since its debut in 2022. However, despite regular additions to the roster, some essential characters and franchises from Pixar are yet to be included in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Just five Pixar series and movies have their characters featured in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Mike Wazowski and Sulley (from Monsters, Inc.), Remy (Ratatouille), Woody and Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story), WALL-E and EVE (WALL-E), and Merida (Brave). Although many franchises and films are missing their characters, some still offer items within Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Finding Nemo

Marlin, Dory, and Nemo have not made their way into Disney Dreamlight Valley as of now. However, the Finding Nemo series is represented within the game through decorative items, clothing designs, and themes. The Manta Ray Mobile is the only piece of furniture associated with the franchise, while the “Friend to the Divers” Crop Jacket and the Octo-bomber were introduced via The Wonder of Pixar Star Path. Additionally, this update also included motifs featuring Dory, Hank (a sea turtle), and a group of otters.

The Incredibles

In the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley, the Incredible family hasn’t been considered super enough to become part of its character lineup just yet. Nevertheless, the franchise has left a lasting impact on the game, with various elements inspired by it. For instance, players can find two pieces of furniture: an Elasticycle and a Mr. Incredible Retro Suit Display. Additionally, there are several costume options like High-Boot or Low-Boot Incredibles Suits, an Incredibles Super-Mask, a Frozone Glider, an Incredible Umbrella, and more. The Pixar Fest Star Path also introduced three themes based on The Incredibles, featuring the super family’s logo, Edna Mode, Jack-Jack, and even an IncrediSquirrel as a companion animal.

Cars

Characters hailing from the world of “Cars” are absent in “Disney Dreamlight Valley”. However, you’ll find items that echo the spirit of Lightning McQueen and Radiator Springs within this game. Specifically, there are three pieces of furniture that pay tribute to the franchise: a McQueen Racing Bed, a Piston Cup, and The V8 Cafe. The Pixar Fest Star Path has also introduced one outfit, the Lightning McQueen Racing Jacket, as well as three designs inspired by Light McQueen himself, his racing number, and a Piston Cup insignia.

Up

Similar to how the stories of Nemo, Cars, and Up don’t feature characters in games but instead inspire various themes, items, and designs, Up has done just that within this title. As part of the Pixar Fest Star Path, additions such as the “Adventure Is Out There!” Balloon Basket and the Fredricksen Fireplace furniture pieces, along with Ellie badge and Fredricksen house motifs, have been incorporated into the game. A Junior Explorer Outfit consisting of a cap and uniform is also available for purchase in the Premium Shop. Moreover, players can buy a Junior Wilderness Explorer Backpack and a Kevin Costume Onesie inspired by Up in this shop as well.

Inside Out

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, the Inside Out series is well-represented with a variety of items, yet no official characters from the franchise appear. The collection boasts furnishings like the Lance Slashblade Statue, a Bing Bong Candy Stand, an Emotional Whirlwind resembling Inside Out’s emotions, a Memory Display Partition, a Quirky Retro Couch, and Bing Bong’s Wagon. Players can adorn themselves with four distinct emotion-themed bracelets: the Anxiety Bracelet, the Embarrassment Bracelet, the Ennui Bracelet, and the Envy Bracelet. The Pixar Star Path’s Wonder motif showcases themes from Inside Out, featuring representations of the film’s various emotions and Bing Bong.

Coco

As a gamer, I’ve noticed that none of the characters from the Land of the Dead have invaded Disney Dreamlight Valley yet, but the spirit of Coco is definitely alive and kicking! There are numerous items inspired by the movie, like Coco’s Stage Showstopper, a Burro PiƱata, Miguel’s Guitar, and Papel Picados. If you fancy dressing up, there’s a Skeleton Onesie or a “Live the Music” T-Shirt to choose from. The Pixar Fest Star Path even includes three motifs inspired by Coco, showcasing guitars and one featuring Miguel in skeleton face paint. It’s like a little piece of Coco has found its way into our game!

Turning Red

Although the characters are absent from Disney Dreamlight Valley, the animated film Turning Red boasts an unexpected array of items that appear within the game. For instance, five pieces of furniture can be found such as the Blossoming Cherry Tree, a Panda Carving Wooden Partition, a Red Panda Paper Lantern, a Red Panda Pillar, and a Grinning Red Panda Pillar. Additionally, players can don Mei’s Panda Ears or Tail, a Red Panda Onesie, and a Red Panda Ski Helmet, Pack, or Suit. Moreover, the Wonder of Pixar Star Path contains four motifs derived from Turning Red, including depictions of Mei in both her human and red panda forms.

Elemental

Characters hailing from “Elemental” may not appear in “Disney Dreamlight Valley”, but there’s no shortage of items influenced by the movie. For instance, you can find three pieces of furniture such as an All-Terrain Scooter, a Circular Embossed Metal Fireplace, and a Drop Pillar. Additionally, players can sport four hairstyles inspired by the film, like the Blazing Pixie, Blooming Bob, Pompadour in the Cloud, and The Wave. Moreover, you can even switch up your facial hair with options like the Blooming Beard and Leafy Mustache. Lastly, the Wonder of Pixar Star Path includes four designs inspired by the movie as well.

Although it was the second film produced by Pixar, A Bug’s Life doesn’t seem as fondly recalled nowadays compared to some of Pixar’s earlier productions. Similarly, The Good Dinosaur, which came out in 2015, isn’t as widely recognized. This could explain why characters from these movies aren’t featured in Disney Dreamlight Valley, possibly due to their reduced popularity in recent times.

Instead, let me rephrase that for you: Unlike other films, such as “Onward,” “Soul,” and “Luca,” which were all launched between 2020 and 2021, they don’t seem to be represented in Disney Dreamlight Valley at the moment. Although these movies were met with positive reviews from Pixar enthusiasts, it might be due to their lack of financial success that Gameloft has not yet introduced characters from these projects into Disney Dreamlight Valley.

As a fervent admirer, I’m thrilled about the two upcoming original Pixar productions, titled “Elio” and “Hoppers”, slated for theater release in 2025 and 2026. While details on these films remain scant, an intriguing idea could be to introduce characters from these movies within Disney Dreamlight Valley, a game developed by Gameloft. Although it might take some time before all Pixar films are represented in the game, it’s only fitting that these upcoming masterpieces at least have exclusive items available in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
