Every Playable God In Smite 2
Starting late August, the 24/7 alpha version of Smite 2 welcomed gamers to a roster of 23 historical deities from various pantheons, ready for players to select and command them in the game’s diverse modes. How Often Are New Gods Added To Smite 2?
In an interview with Game Rant, Alex Cantatore from Hi-Rez Studios shared that they have a bold strategy to introduce more characters into the sequel of the widely played game, Smite. Given that the original version boasted 130 playable gods at the time of writing this article, Cantatore acknowledged that it might take some time before players experience the number of characters that Smite players are currently enjoying.
Every three weeks, it’s planned to introduce not one but two fresh characters into Smite 2. These newcomers could be based on classic deities, similar to the original additions of Nu Wa and Amaterasu, or a mix of a brand-new god alongside an established character from the original game. Currently, Smite 2 boasts two unique heroes who are exclusive to the sequel – Hecate and Mordred, based on the Arthurian legend.
