Every Pokemon Confirmed for Pokopia So Far

It’s a great month for Nintendo and Pokémon fans! The return of the Nintendo Treehouse livestream is generating a lot of excitement. Although it’s not as big as a full Nintendo Direct presentation or a major Pokémon 30th anniversary event, the livestream is expected to share positive news about the new game, Pokémon Pokopia.

On February 24th, Treehouse will host a showcase featuring lengthy gameplay demonstrations of two new Switch 2 games: Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup In Bellabel Park and Pokemon Pokopia. The presentation will last approximately 80 minutes and will give viewers a detailed look at Pokemon Pokopia before its release on March 5th. While Pokopia focuses on life simulation rather than battling, a key feature is the ability to discover and catalog a large number of Pokemon, building a comprehensive Pokedex. Early impressions suggest a mix of Pokémon’s appeal and the relaxing, community-focused gameplay of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, with a focus on living alongside creatures instead of battling them. New Pokemon Variants Are Appearing in Pokemon Pokopia

In addition to bringing back popular Pokémon, Pokopia is adding new versions of existing Pokémon, rather than completely new species—at least for now. These versions follow the recent Pokémon pattern of offering alternate forms instead of traditional evolutions. So far, four of these new versions have been revealed, and they all fit the charming and comfortable atmosphere Pokopia is aiming for.

Peakychu

It’s possible there’s an even cuter form of Pikachu! This version is a lighter color, has floppy ears, and looks extra soft. While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, its appearance suggests it might be a Ghost-type Pokémon.

Professor Tangrowth

Professor Tangrowth plays a similar role to characters like Tom Nook in Animal Crossing or Mayor Lewis in Stardew Valley. They act as a guide for the player as they work to rebuild the island, and it seems they’ve been living there by themselves for a long time.
