The upcoming locale is said to offer a distinct atmosphere compared to other regions and boast a futuristic ambiance.

In Black Shores, it can be expected that players will encounter new adversaries and carry out tasks to advance the plot. As we approach version 1.3, more information about this upcoming island chain will be disclosed.

Gamers are expected to come across these creatures during their exploration of the Black Shores region. Besides these two, the update will also introduce several non-player characters who play a role in the game’s narrative.

Wuthering Waves Will Add Portal Puzzles and a New Companion Mission

In their latest announcement, developers have revealed that the upcoming version 1.3 will introduce Portal Puzzles, enabling players to traverse different regions. Although specifics about these portal gates are limited, preliminary leaks suggest they’ll be found in the Black Shores region. Players can look forward to the Portal Puzzles adding an element of excitement when exploring Black Shores.

In addition to fresh gaming features, version 1.3 is set to introduce a companion mission coming up this month. According to the creators, this mission is specifically tailored for “Wuthering Waves” Encore, an exceptional character that players can acquire from the Standard banner. This adventure may unveil previously undisclosed details about Encore’s backstory and character traits.

Shorekeeper and Youhu Will Make Their Debut in Version 1.3

In the upcoming version 1.3, the game Wuthering Waves is set to introduce two new playable characters: Shorekeeper and Youhu. These are female characters with distinct abilities that are yet to be fully revealed. Although their marketing campaigns have been underway, details about their skills sets remain a secret. As per leaks, the Shorekeeper is rumored to be a five-star Resonator with the Spector attribute. She’s said to function as a healer and focus on the Rectifier weapon type. Her signature weapon is speculated to provide energy regeneration and boost her health by 12%.

With her healing ability, Shorekeeper, will restore health to all teammates and summon Radiant Spectral Butterflies that inflict Spectral damage. Over time, Crumbling Cosmic Cores will be produced, transforming into Blazing Stellar Butterflies. These auxiliary creatures follow enemies and continue to deal Spectral damage similar to the Radiant Spectral Butterflies.
