The highly anticipated Adventure Time expansion for PowerWash Simulator 2 is coming out soon. This downloadable content will add characters and elements from the popular Cartoon Network show, blending the worlds of both franchises in a fun collaboration.
It’s common for the PowerWash Simulator series to team up with other popular franchises, and the Adventure Time pack is the first collaboration of its kind in PowerWash Simulator 2. The original game featured crossovers with IPs like Shrek and Final Fantasy 7, letting players clean famous locations like Shrek’s swamp and Seventh Heaven. This is a great way to add content to PowerWash Simulator – getting a close-up view of beloved fictional worlds while scrubbing them clean is unique to the game. Now that Adventure Time is the first DLC for the sequel, it will be interesting to see what other collaborations developer FuturLab has planned.
Five New Levels Set in the Adventure Time World Are Coming to PowerWash Simulator 2
Although the full list of levels isn’t available yet, the Adventure Time DLC will feature five unique areas to tidy up and investigate. Trailers have already revealed some of the locations you can expect to find in the DLC.
- Finn and Jake Treehouse
- Ice King Castle
- Princess Bubblegum’s Castle
The levels in this expansion will probably be very detailed and large, with lots to explore. For example, Princess Bubblegum’s Castle won’t just be the castle itself, but also the surrounding Candy Kingdom, including places like Pizza Sassy’s. The original PowerWash Simulator was known for its great level design, so fans are hoping this expansion keeps that up.

PowerWash Simulator 2’s DLC Has a Storyline Based Around Adventure Time Mainstays
You might not expect a story in PowerWash Simulator, but the game actually tries some interesting things with its narrative, and the Adventure Time DLC is a great example. In this expansion, you play as the Royal Candy Cleaners – charming, cartoon-like helpers created by Princess Bubblegum to keep the kingdom tidy. It seems the Ice King’s mischief is behind some of the mess, though he doesn’t admit to everything.
Okay, so let’s be real, I’m not expecting a super deep story here – it is a PowerWash Simulator DLC about cleaning a candy world! But I’m really happy to see they’re actually building on the lore from Adventure Time, which is awesome. And they’re including characters like BMO and Jake – even if Jake is a scissor lift, which is hilarious! Both PowerWash games are full of little references and Easter eggs, so I’m guessing that’s how they’ll tell most of the Adventure Time story – through fun details and nods to the show. I’m totally okay with that!
In the trailer for the Adventure Time DLC, Princess Bubblegum mentions she’s been testing new cleaning products to make things extra shiny. However, it’s unclear if this will actually change how the game is played, or if it’s just a cosmetic detail.
When Is PowerWash Simulator 2’s Adventure Time DLC Releasing?
Okay, so I’m super excited because the Adventure Time DLC for PowerWash Simulator 2 is coming out on April 9th, 2026! And the best part? It’s launching on all platforms at the same time. It’ll cost $7.99, which is the same price as the other DLC packs for the first PowerWash Simulator. I’m guessing it’ll be pretty similar to those in terms of how it plays, but hopefully, they’ve really upped the quality and made it even bigger and better, since PowerWash 2 is already a fantastic game.
