Exciting New Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass This May – Don’t Miss Out!

In May, Microsoft is unveiling the next batch of games joining Xbox Game Pass. This collection includes another game debuting on day one, adding to the numerous titles launching this month on the service. Additionally, some highly-acclaimed titles are being added, which are sure to excite many subscribers. So far, Xbox Game Pass has had a successful year, and its gaming service continues to provide a compelling value for gamers who appreciate having a diverse collection of games at their fingertips.

For the month of May, the subscription service has enriched its collection with several captivating titles such as “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2,” “Dredge,” and “Revenge of the Savage Planet.” On May 15th, Bethesda’s first-person shooter, “Doom: The Dark Ages,” was added to the Xbox Game Pass library, completing the initial lineup for the first half of the month. More recently, subscribers have been treated to “Firefighting Simulator: The Squad” and “Police Simulator: Patrol Officers.” These games are ideal for those who enjoy role-playing as firefighters, law enforcers, and saviors of civilians.

In the second half of May, some of the games were previously announced for Xbox Game Pass, but Microsoft has given more details about what else will be added to the service to round out the month. On May 21, a new day-one release, “Monster Train 2,” the sequel to the 2020 roguelike deckbuilding game with a train theme, is set to join the subscription service. Additionally, subscribers can look forward to two more launch-day titles: “To a T,” a narrative adventure from the creator of “Katamari Damacy,” and “Spray Paint Simulator,” which will be available on May 29.

Coming to Xbox Game Pass in May and June 2025

In addition to the previously announced Xbox Game Pass releases for May, you’ll find some exciting new additions such as:

1. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
2. STALKER 2
3. Tales of Kenzera: Zau
4. Metaphor ReFantazio, an RPG by Studio Zero that received numerous awards in October 2024
5. Creatures of Ava, an action-adventure game from Inverge Studios, offering players the chance to traverse diverse ecosystems and protect endangered creatures from a global infection
6. Lastly, Crypt Custodian by Kyle Thompson, a Metroidvania style game featuring a deceased cat cleaning up the afterlife

Each of these games will be available on Xbox Game Pass come May. Enjoy!

In June, several games joining Xbox Game Pass have already been announced, with “Symphonia” being one of them. This game, developed by Sunny Peak, is described as a peaceful and poetic platformer. Another eagerly awaited title coming in June is “The Alters,” created by 11 Bit Studios. In this game, the player must craft multiple versions of themselves to evade the deadly rays from the rising sun.
