Although it may not immediately seem connected to Pokemon, a significant Game Freak data breach in 2024 revealed a project code-named “Pokemon Synapse.” This project appears to be a multiplayer spin-off game with an emphasis on battles, being developed collaboratively by Game Freak and ILCA. The gameplay is said to resemble that found in Splatoon. Although Pyoro has been correct about some predictions in the past, fans should keep their skepticism high until the upcoming presentation this week.

Previously Leaked Multiplayer Pokemon Game May Appear During Upcoming Pokemon Presents Steam

Despite uncertainty about whether it will debut on Pokemon Day, fans are highly anticipating updates regarding the upcoming Nintendo Switch game Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which is still scheduled for release in 2025. Since its initial teaser during last year’s Pokemon Presents stream, not much has been disclosed about the game. However, it is set in the Kalos region, as seen in Pokemon X and Y, with a primary focus on events within Lumiose City. The fan-favorite Mega Evolution mechanic from these games will also be reintroduced in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
