The upcoming movie featuring me and Roboco won’t significantly alter the original voice actors. As a result, viewers can anticipate recognizing familiar voices similar to those heard in the animated series.
- Roboco voiced by Shun Matsuo
- Bondo Taira voiced by Minami Tsuda
- Gachi Gorilla voiced by Ryōtarō Okiayu
- Motsuo Kaneo voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi
- Madoka voiced by M.A.O
I’ve learned that the forthcoming movie featuring me and Roboco will present three distinct variations of Roboco, each with a unique voice talent. Among these fresh additions, you’ll encounter:
- Roboco (Me & Roboco from the World of Genuine SF Action) voiced by Shigeru Chiba
- Roboco (from the World of Romantic Comedies) voiced by Sumire Uesaka
- Roboco (from the World of Showa Era Gag Manga) voiced by Masako Nozawa
Three distinctive designs for new characters have been created, each with a unique manga style. The initial concept visualizes Roboco as the protagonist in an action-packed series, embodying characteristics similar to Jotaro Kujo from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures, with a robust and muscular build. The second design portrays Roboco as a character from romantic comedies, featuring a more feminine appearance and sporting violet hair.
The last design portrays Roboco as a figure reminiscent of a comic character from the Showa-era humor manga. Upon initial observation, it appears that this design style has been employed intentionally to elicit laughter from the viewers.
At Gallop, Akitaro Daichi is leading the way as the film’s director for “Me & Roboco”. Michihiro Sato is working alongside him in the role of assistant director. Meanwhile, Sayuri Ooba is responsible for overseeing the scripts, and Yuko Ebara has been entrusted with designing the characters for this exciting production.
In the narrative of “Me & Roboco,” we encounter Bondo, a spirited youth captivated by the idea of a robotic household helper. Despite numerous attempts, he finally acquires one. Yet, this robot maid differs significantly from her counterparts.
Me & Roboco will be released in April 2025.
