WWE 2K26 is coming out in March, and TopMob has the first look at what its showcase mode will offer.
Okay, so if you’re new to the WWE 2K games, Showcase mode is really cool. It’s basically like playing through a mini-documentary. You usually get put in historical matches or get to explore ‘What If?’ scenarios – like what if certain wrestlers faced off at different times. They’ve done storylines with legends like Stone Cold, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, and current stars like Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Bayley. It’s a fun way to relive classic moments and see some alternate wrestling history.
WWE 2K26’s showcase mode focuses on a wrestler who was also featured in the very first showcase mode, which debuted in WWE 2K15.
It’s Time To Get “Punked” In WWE 2K26’s Showcase
Sources say that WWE 2K26 will include a Showcase Mode focused on CM Punk. The mode will reportedly be narrated by Punk himself and will feature three distinct sets of matches highlighting his career.
The first part of the experience lets players revisit some of CM Punk’s most iconic matches from his time in WWE. It also includes alternate scenarios imagining what could have happened if he hadn’t left WWE in 2014, and dream matches pitting him against wrestlers he never got to face.
CM Punk returned to WWE in November 2023 after not appearing for nine years. He first became playable in the WWE 2K24 video game as downloadable content, and was then added to the main roster in WWE 2K25.
