EXCLUSIVE: Details Behind Funko Fusion Developer 10:10 Games’ Recent Layoffs

10:10 Games, the developer behind Funko Fusion, has experienced internal changes, involving some job redundancies as part of a recent studio reorganization.

10:10 Games recently underwent modifications during the past week, which are related to ongoing company projects reaching completion. According to our sources, these changes are aimed at aligning with the present studio projects more effectively. However, specific details about the nature of these projects have yet to be disclosed.

10:10 Games has reportedly dismissed approximately 20 staff members, but they haven’t provided a precise figure regarding the total number of layoffs, despite numerous inquiries.

According to reports, the company is aiding those who were laid off, though it’s unclear at this point if this assistance extends to any form of severance pay upon publication.

Established in 2021 by industry veterans Arthur Parsons and Jon Burton, creator of Traveller’s Tales, 10:10 Games is located in Warrington, United Kingdom. The team launched their inaugural game, Funko Fusion, in September 2024. As per the most recent data from public records and information on their official website, it was reported that 10:10 Games had approximately 100 employees before the rounds of layoffs.

During the initial seven weeks of 2025, approximately 1,000 jobs in the gaming sector have been reported as lost across 27 businesses. However, since some companies haven’t disclosed their staff numbers, it’s reasonable to assume that the actual number is likely more than 1,000. In the previous year, 2024, it was estimated that around 16,000 jobs were lost in this industry.
