Among the highly sought-after Eeveelution cards, one noteworthy example is the Holofoil Umbreon VMAX from the Evolving Skies collection, often referred to as “Moonbreon.” This card is distinguished by its scarcity and practicality. Similarly, Sylveon EX #156, which was part of the Prismatic Evolutions expansion, boasts a captivating artwork and potent attacks. The allure of Eevee and its evolutions remains strong among Pokemon TCG enthusiasts, who eagerly anticipate the addition of more cards to their collections.

Beach Poke has unveiled Gem 2, a fresh booster pack centered around Eevee and its evolutions, set to be available on shelves from May 16th. This exclusive release in China will feature four holographic cards, including unique artwork of Eevee’s transformations by HYOGONOSUKE, with only four designs revealed at this time. Each pack will showcase a distinct holographic version: Eeveelution cards displaying their type symbols, cards bearing the Gem 2 promotional stamp, full art V cards, and those illustrated by HYOGONOSUKE.

The History of Eevee and Eeveelutions Pokemon TCG Cards

Eevee received its first Pokemon Trading Card Game card in 1999 with the launch of the Jungle expansion. Over the years, Eevee was included in a total of 68 cards, with the initial Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon cards appearing in the same set, followed by additional appearances on 28, 30, and 31 cards respectively. In 2001, Umbreon and Espeon made their debut in the Neo Discovery expansion, with each character subsequently appearing on an additional 25 and 26 cards. Introduced in 2008 through the Majestic Dawn expansion, Glaceon and Leafeon have since been featured on 18 and 19 cards respectively. The most recent Eevee evolution, Sylveon, first appeared in 2017 as part of the XY Black Star Promos set and has since shown up on another 16 cards.

Since 2022, China has been issuing sets for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) to remain in sync with global trends. These sets feature cards written in simplified Chinese, marking the Chinese market’s entry during the Sun and Moon era and its ongoing journey through the Scarlet and Violet cycle. For Western fans eagerly waiting, the upcoming Pokémon TCG set is titled “Destined Rivals,” expected on May 30. This expansion reintroduces the Trainer’s Pokémon ability and emphasizes cards related to Team Rocket.
