Based on unnamed sources, it appears that Sony’s PlayStation is considering holding its upcoming State of Play event towards the last week of September. It’s rumored that Insomniac Games’ Wolverine project may be featured in this event, as production on its trailer has reportedly been finished. If Wolverine doesn’t make an appearance at State of Play, it’s likely we’ll see the trailer unveiled within a few months, with The Game Awards being a strong contender for the next reveal.
In late 2023, during a ransomware attack on Insomniac Games, both employee data and significant portions of Wolverine’s development footage were exposed online.
