One key selling point for Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island is its absence of generative AI, a distinction that the developer showcases with pride. In February, Alex Kanaris-Sotiriou, Creative Director at Polygon Treehouse, presented this seal, which enables independent developers to reassure players that no AI was used in the creation of their game. Although there’s no system in place to verify the truthfulness of those who use the badge, it represents a positive move towards responsible AI usage.
Microsoft’s subscription service members still have a couple of thrilling games left this month to anticipate, with even more arriving in April. Notable titles coming to Game Pass include “Atomfall,” set to debut on March 27 exclusively for Ultimate subscribers. This survival action game transports players to post-nuclear Britain, where they must scavenge and trade goods, create weapons and armor, and, of course, battle for survival.
On April 8th, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can look forward to another exciting day-one release: “South of Midnight”, the highly anticipated action-adventure title from the creators of “We Happy Few” known as Compulsion Games. Towards the end of the month, on April 28th, players will finally get a chance to dive into “Clair Obscure: Expedition 33”, a turn-based RPG inspired by France’s pre-war Belle Epoque, developed by Sandfall Interactive.
