The prospect of exploring a new London post-apocalyptic landscape is enticing, but the recurring crashes and bugs have been a bit of a thorn in my side.
For nearly two weeks, the expansive mod project known as Fallout London has been active, but it’s still encountering significant issues like crashes and bugs. Luckily, as announced by the developers of Fallout London, a substantial update is imminent to address these problems. Before this major patch arrives, gamers are expected to receive a quick fix as well.
According to Fallout London’s official Discord, an upcoming update, known as a hotfix, is planned. This hotfix aims to rectify crashes and includes crucial components such as Buffout 4. Moreover, the hotfix will also help resolve various other issues before the larger “patch” arrives. When the big patch for Fallout London lands, it’ll primarily focus on addressing problems reported on their Discord channel and a wide range of quest-related and additional issues.
In addition, if gamers continue to encounter difficulties while operating the mod, they have the option to join individual problem-solving sessions, where a developer from Fallout: London will directly assist them in resolving their issues and helping them install the mod on their system. Players just need to visit the official Discord server and wait in the Troubleshooting room, and someone will provide assistance.
Additionally, they mentioned in their post that a live stream featuring developers from Fallout London will be held on Thursday, August 8. Players who are excited can join Team Folon’s official Twitch channel at 8 PM (UK time) to chat with the devs and gain insights into the development process, including behind-the-scenes information.
