The incorporation of lockers within the primary schedule has long been sought since the game’s early access debut last month. Though beds are mandatory for employees at all locations, numerous players argue that there is a far more practical substitute due to the current feature consuming excessive property area.
Since its hugely successful early access debut in March, the lone creator behind Schedule 1 has consistently rolled out a series of fresh updates. These updates have brought about numerous enhancements, implemented many sought-after features within the game. The latest update for Schedule 1 was launched over the weekend, featuring a new function that allows players to explore employees’ inventories, resolving several bugs, and offering additional improvements.
Schedule 1 Is Replacing Beds With Lockers
In an exciting development, the creator of this popular indie game has added a much-anticipated player request to the roadmap – employee lockers. As per the official Schedule 1 Trello board, Tyler is planning to swap out employee beds for lockers in an upcoming update, a change that fans have been looking forward to for quite some time. No specific release date has been announced yet, but this feature falls under the “smaller additions/improvements” category on the roadmap.
For those who may not know, every worker hired by the player must have a designated bed according to Schedule 1. Although the workers don’t sleep in these beds, each one has a briefcase at the end for paying wages daily. However, fans are suggesting that these beds be replaced with lockers since they require less space and would provide more room for product creation, as workers appear to stand outside during nights when it’s time to rest.
Besides the feature currently being developed based on community requests for Schedule 1, Tyler has many other big plans for the game’s future. Numerous new features and enhancements to gameplay are already in progress. These include traveling options, police raids, map expansions, new item types, backpacks, and more – all of which have been outlined on the game’s roadmap. However, as there is only one developer working on the project, it may take some time before these features become available in the game.
Even though it was developed by just one person, Schedule 1 has become an enormous success on Steam. This independent game has been a constant presence in Steam’s most-played games for several weeks now, reaching a peak of over 459,000 simultaneous players and averaging approximately 200,000 daily concurrent players.
