During the pivotal Marineford War, even a weakened and aging Whitebeard displayed an astonishing might that left fans in awe. At the peak of his life, it’s widely believed that he could have stood toe-to-toe with the legendary Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. Truly, the strongest pirate in the One Piece universe is undoubtedly a toss-up between these two titans!
Third Strongest Character – Shanks
In Japan, among “One Piece” fans, it’s widely believed that Shanks, one of the Yonko, is the third strongest character. Despite not yet seeing Shanks at his full potential, fans are well aware of his immense power. At present, Shanks is considered to be one of the most skilled users of Haki. Fans eagerly anticipate that Shanks will prove his strength during the climactic storyline.

These two powerhouses are a force to be reckoned with, and I can hardly wait to witness the full might of Mihawk’s unseen prowess. In his heyday, Garp stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Roger – a testament to his immense strength!
Besides the top five figures, there are other influential characters like Imu, the Five Elders, Kaido, Big Mom, Dragon, and Luffy (plus a few others) who didn’t secure the highest positions in the rankings. However, keep in mind that these rankings are based on fan votes, so their significance might not be substantial.
