In simple terms, “Fantasy Life i” offers an expansive role-playing adventure filled with diverse realms, numerous characters to interact with, and countless quests to conquer. What sets it apart is the Life system embedded within the game, enabling players to customize their journey by taking on profession-specific missions and advancing in distinct skill paths each time they play.
In the game “Fantasy Life i”, mastering abilities is a crucial element of the gaming experience. The order in which you acquire these skills can significantly impact your gameplay. If a player makes a poor choice in the skill tree, they might end up spending more time accumulating Life levels, and the new skills may not aid in vanquishing foes. In such instances, having the ability to revert skills back to their original state would be beneficial.
How To Respec Skills In Fantasy Life I
In the game ‘Fantasy Life i’, players can’t instantly reset their skills; they need to advance through the storyline first. Specifically, after finishing Quest 8 in Chapter 3, a building known as the Guild Office will appear at Base Camp in the current timeline. Inside this office, you’ll find an NPC named Lucy Lips, who resembles a flower sitting on the counter. This character allows you to reset your skills and refunds any previously spent skill points so that you can invest them freshly from scratch.
However, keep in mind that Lucy Lips doesn’t provide free services. Instead, you’ll need to pay 10,000 of your in-game coins, or “Dosh,” each time you wish to respec. This isn’t a small expense, especially when you’re still early in the game. So, it’s wise to choose your skill unlocks carefully.
Remember, with this price, you can only reset skill points for one Life, not all of them.
If you’re short on cash for a respec, the most effective method to accumulate this currency is by concentrating on Story Missions or Personal Tasks. Interacting with NPCs marked with a white chat bubble on your map will provide quests that offer Dosh as rewards. The amount of Dosh you can earn from these quests can range from several hundred coins to thousands.
Initially in the game, it isn’t advantageous to reassign skills (respec), as the skill system is structured so that players can’t concentrate on one particular branch. Consequently, players need to invest points into every branch of the skill tree to unlock subsequent abilities. However, later in the game, the cost of learning advanced skills rises significantly, making respec a viable choice when correcting mistakes, since leveling up again would require extensive grinding. By this point, players are presumed to have accumulated enough currency (10,000 Dosh) to afford a respec.
