Summary
- Strikers like Tricera excel at holding areas and supporting teammates in capture and data missions.
- Stego, though tanky, struggles with 360 view and holding areas effectively like Tricera.
- Strikers such as Hurricane can effectively defend with deployable shields and deal high damage.
In the heart of Mecha Break, you’ll find yourself engaged in a thrilling dance of strategy, where the objective is to outsmart opponents by dodging their onslaughts and striking them with precision. This engaging interplay is made possible through an intuitive movement system that, while initially challenging, rewards mastery.
Each Striker’s locomotion is connected to their individual energy store and consumption rate. Yet, every Striker has a predetermined maximum speed, explaining why certain ones appear to travel much quicker than others.
While focusing only on a striker’s increased speed, whether on the ground or in flight, provides an incomplete picture of their abilities, the value of a swift striker diminishes significantly if it fails to inflict sufficient damage upon opponents. After all, speed without impact is like a ship sailing without a destination.
The strikers have been ranked based on their boosted speed on the ground.
15. Tricera
Boosted Speed: 60 (Ground) – 26 (Air)

- Max Energy: 35,000
- Boost Energy Consumption: 560
- Boost Duration (Ground): 62 seconds
Even though Tricera is known for being the least agile striker, both in terms of speed on the ground and in mid-air, she remains one of the top defenders in the game Mecha Break. The main purpose of Tricera’s design is to establish a sentinel that guards a vital location on the map and protects it.
In scenarios where capturing a site is crucial, Tricera proves to be a formidable presence. Additionally, it serves effectively as a supportive character in data center missions, enabling players to extend valuable time for their team during data upload tasks.
Reduced efficiency in flight is a result of Tricera’s high energy demands. However, when stationary, its Aux 2 ability proves particularly useful, offering extra protective shielding and enabling a comprehensive, 360-degree view for tackling potential threats, much like a powerful turret system.
14. Stego
Boosted Speed: 61 (Ground) – 27 (Air)

- Max Energy: 38,000
- Boost Energy Consumption: 500
- Boost Duration (Ground): 76 seconds
Stego, like Tricera, is a robust striker with a sluggish movement speed due to its role as a holder as well. Although Stego has a slight speed advantage over Tricera, it’s not as proficient at securing areas because its stationary stance doesn’t offer a full 360-degree view of the position. This makes Stego susceptible to attacks from behind.
Although Rocket Pod attacks inflict substantial harm, they take a while to reload. In other words, Stego might struggle to maintain control over an area independently compared to Tricera.
The power of Stego’s Aux 3 function is notable, but it can only be utilized when Stego is stationary. This stationary mode, however, presents an issue with its narrow field of coverage angle. Yet, due to its lower energy consumption, Stego can sustain its operation for a more extended period while moving around.
13. Hurricane
Boosted Speed: 64 (Ground) – 29 (Air)

- Max Energy: 46,000
- Boost Energy Consumption: 520
- Boost Duration (Ground): 88 seconds
The Hurricane, much like Stego and Tricera, has a defensive focus in its attacking style. Yet, what makes it unique is its effectiveness when airborne, as its skills don’t require it to remain static.
Due to a large energy reservoir, the Hurricane model maintains buoyancy for extended durations and can fully utilize its capabilities mid-air. Although the energy projectiles take time to recharge, they inflict substantial damage. The Aux 3 feature of Hurricane is particularly potent in swiftly depleting an adversary’s health gauge.
With its deployable defenses, Hurricane can temporarily make itself invulnerable to enemy attacks while the shields are being raised, providing a protective buffer that delays potential harm and minimizes damage received during this period.
Although Hurricane moves faster than Stego and Tricera, it remains susceptible when facing swift-moving targets such as Falcon.
12. Inferno
Boosted Speed: 65 (Ground) – 29 (Air)

- Max Energy: 46,000
- Boost Energy Consumption: 520
- Boost Duration (Ground): 88 seconds
Inferno occupies a position midway between Stego, our stationary guardian, and Hurricane, our mobile defender. Its primary armament consists of shotguns that deliver significant damage to enemies at close range, but it also features an optional firing mode for distant skirmishes, albeit with a rather lengthy charge time for these long-range shots.
Inferno’s skills share a resemblance with Hurricane’s in many aspects. Two of these skills unleash damaging laser beams at opponents from a distance, whereas one skill offers protection to Inferno, shielding it from detrimental statuses.
It turns out that Inferno and Hurricane have identical levels of energy consumption and energy storage, making them very comparable in terms of their rankings.
11. Pinaka
Boosted Speed: 66 (Ground) – 32 (Air)

- Max Energy: 37,000
- Boost Energy Consumption: 480
- Boost Duration (Ground): 77 seconds
In simpler terms, Pinaka serves as a healer, boasting superior healing tools compared to Luminae. However, it trades a portion of speed for these enhanced capabilities. Acting primarily as a support character, Pinaka’s role is to assist attack-focused warriors in enduring their battles.
The Pinaka weapon system is capable of launching multiple rockets towards a target, but the impact of these rockets isn’t particularly high.
On the defensive front, Pinaka stands out as an efficient tool. It creates a protective barrier similar to a bubble, which serves multiple purposes. Apart from blocking incoming harm, this shield also restores the target’s vitality over time and boosts its overall health.
Due to its slow pace, Pinaka isn’t built for quick maneuvers; instead, it excels when paired with offensive players like Stego, Tricera, or even Hurricane. This partnership allows these strikers to maintain control over objectives more efficiently.
10. Alysnes
Boosted Speed: 67 (Ground) – 30 (Air)

- Max Energy: 43,000
- Boost Energy Consumption: 600
- Boost Duration (Ground): 71 seconds
Introduced initially as the primary striker, Alysnes is a versatile mechanical unit that excels in both ranged and close combat attacks. This dual ability makes it easier for players to keep their opponents under constant pressure. By swiftly transitioning to melee weapons when ammunition runs out, they can prevent enemies from regaining strength.
In summary, Alysnes isn’t quite as swift as some other combat strikers, making it challenging for them to catch their opponents. While it does have a melee attack with a small jump, this is insufficient for the task.
Even though Alysnes may not reach its peak performance due to its slow speed, it’s crucial to remember its remarkable capability to regain full health upon defeat. This unique self-resurrecting feature places Alysnes solidly in the upper echelons of the meta rating.
9. Skyraider
Boosted Speed: 68 (Ground) – 52 (Air)

- Max Energy: 44,000
- Boost Energy Consumption: 480
- Boost Duration (Ground): 91 seconds
Clearly suggested by its name, the Skyraier excels as an airborne attacker, capable of wreaking havoc both in the sky and on ground targets. Notably, it boasts an extended flight duration, and it’s equipped with a unique skill for rapid flight. When this speed boost is engaged, the Skyraider can utilize its Aux 3 function to fire cluster missiles at adversaries.
Although Aux 3 delivers substantial damage, it’s often imprecise because hitting targets accurately when moving quickly and launching missiles isn’t an easy task to accomplish.
8. Narukami
Boosted Speed: 69 (Ground) – 37 (Air)

- Max Energy: 17,000
- Boost Energy Consumption: 220
- Boost Duration (Ground): 77 seconds
Narukami is designed for those who prefer to ambush their foes at a great distance, keeping their origin undetected. Its standout feature is an exceptionally extended combat range, along with stealth capabilities.
Due to its unique skills, Narukami is capable of locating strategic positions on the map and monitoring the battlefield without being spotted by adversaries. This allows it to deal significant damage to enemies from a concealed position. Before they even reach that spot, Narukami can swiftly move to another part of the map, always ready for the next engagement.
Speed isn’t necessarily Narukami’s strong suit, but it’s not slow either, which works well given that Narukami is more of a stationary striker and less focused on mobility or sniping while moving. Consequently, its relatively small energy tank doesn’t pose much of an issue.
7. Welkin
Boosted Speed: 70 (Ground) – 30 (Air).

- Max Energy: 48,000
- Boost Energy Consumption: 550
- Boost Duration (Ground): 87 seconds
In the game, Welkin stands out as the most potent close-combat damage inflictor, not just due to its high damage output, but also because of an array of robust abilities that enable it to encircle the adversary with destructive assaults.
As a swift-footed gamer, I need my melee unit to outrun opponents and strike them with ease. Welkin excels in this aspect, moving faster than most on solid ground. Moreover, although it has a higher energy consumption, it manages to stay stealthy for extended periods, ready to pounce whenever necessary.
When it comes to Welkin’s arsenal, the spinning axe might be its primary weapon, but don’t overlook the rocket launcher that dishes out damage from afar. By trapping foes within its cage and cornering them with relentless axe attacks, Welkin often secures a kill in this manner.
6. Aquila
Boosted Speed: 70 (Ground) – 48 (Air)

- Max Energy: 45,000
- Boost Energy Consumption: 700
- Boost Duration (Ground): 64 seconds
Instead of Narukami being a stationary sniper on the outskirts of combat, Aquila offers a more dynamic playstyle with abilities that aren’t as stealth-oriented and don’t require the player to remain motionless.
Choosing Aquila offers a more engaging experience for players compared to Narukami, but be prepared for potentially riskier scenarios.
Despite Aquila’s impressive airspeed surpassing Narukami, its excessive energy consumption hinders it from exploring widely, a vital aspect for a sniper role. While Aquila retains its ability to take scoped shots while flying, players need to be strategic with their energy usage.
Because Aquila lacks Narukami’s stealth capabilities, it’s crucial to reserve some energy for evading pursuing adversaries and maintain a secure distance from them at all times.
