This update includes major improvements to the game’s systems, new content, and changes designed to make the game more enjoyable. Remedy says the goal is to enhance the overall experience by adding more variety and depth, and to better guide new players – something the game lacked at launch. A key feature of the Breakpoint update is the Crisis Board, which replaces the Job Board and offers more focused missions. Each ‘Crisis’ will be a unique version of an existing mission with random rewards, goals, and length, and new Crises will appear every 30 minutes. The update also includes a new tutorial level called ‘Orientation’ with voiceover instructions to help players learn the basics.
