In Final Fantasy 7 Remake, players will eventually unlock the ‘The Stagger Effect Pt. 3’ Battle Intel Report from Chadley. This report requires players to reach a 200% Stagger damage bonus, which can be tricky for some. However, with a little guidance, it’s actually quite simple to increase your Stagger and complete this FF7 Remake report.
FF7 Remake The Stagger Effect Pt. 3: How to Get 200% Stagger Damage Bonus
To maximize your Stagger damage bonus to 200% in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, players should first choose the Fat Chocobo in Chadley’s VR Missions. This enemy is ideal for completing the Stagger Effect Pt. 3 challenge, as it’s both vulnerable to Stagger and takes significant damage. When the battle with the Fat Chocobo begins, switch to controlling Tifa.
Players can now try to Stagger the Fat Chocobo. Right before it’s Staggered, use Tifa’s Unbridled Strength to boost her special ability. Then, while the Chocobo is Staggered, keep using that ability to significantly increase the Stagger damage bonus beyond the usual 160% limit.
I’ve been messing around with this new method, and it seriously boosted my Stagger damage to 200% really quickly – I even finished up ‘The Stagger Effect Pt. 3’! Now, I’m aiming for 300% to unlock that ‘Staggering Feat’ trophy/achievement, but it’s proving to be a bit tougher, honestly.
How to Get 300% Stagger Damage Bonus in Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Okay, so for this fight, you really want to play as Tifa and focus on building up that stagger bonus against the Fat Chocobo. The key is using ‘Unbridled Strength’ twice when the stagger bar is about halfway full – this will unlock her awesome ‘Rise and Fall’ ability. As soon as you get the Chocobo staggered, hit it with ‘Rise and Fall’, then ‘Omnistrike’ and ‘Whirling Uppercut’ right away! After that, use ‘Unbridled Strength’ twice more, and just keep spamming Tifa’s triangle button ability. Try to refresh ‘Unbridled Strength’ whenever you can to push that stagger bonus all the way up to 300%!
Okay, so I’ve been trying to get that perfect stagger bonus on the Fat Chocobo, and honestly, it’s tough! If you’re finding you’re taking it down before you hit 300% stagger, there are a couple of things you can do. One, you could bump up the difficulty – that’ll make the fight last longer. Or, what some people do is give their characters weaker weapons, which means it’ll take longer to deal damage and give you more time to build up that stagger bonus. It’s a cool little trick!
