Fields of Mistria: How to Build Home Upgrade 4

In the game called Fields of Mistria, one of the aspects that players find particularly enjoyable is the freedom to personalize their farm in Mistgrove. You can design and manage it according to your preferences – from selecting what animals to keep, deciding which crops to grow, and constructing various structures. The decisions are entirely yours! Additionally, there are numerous upgrades available to optimize your farm’s productivity and enhance its aesthetic appeal all at once.

In the popular game “Fields of Mistria”, one highly desired enhancement is the Home Upgrade, and the game’s third major update (v0.14.0) has introduced an additional level for home expansion. Given its cost, here’s a guide on how to acquire this upgrade.

How to Unlock Home Upgrade 4 in Fields of Mistria

In the game “Fields of Mistria”, just like other farmhouse enhancements, you can acquire Home Upgrade 4 from Ryis’ Carpenter’s Shop. But before you can get it, there are certain tasks you need to complete first. After constructing Home Upgrade 3, these tasks include:

This version tries to maintain the original meaning while making it more conversational and easier to understand for a casual reader.

Reach Town Rank 65 (Silver Rank)

You can enhance your town’s daily rank by collecting Renown points through various approaches. Accumulating these points on a daily basis not only increases your Renown but also expedites your rank rise. Here are some effective methods:

1. Completing daily tasks and challenges within the town.
2. Contributing to the development of public facilities and infrastructure.
3. Participating in events and collaborations with other towns or organizations.
4. Engaging in trade and commerce, either by selling goods or services, or by providing resources to your fellow townsfolk.

  • Crown Requests: Offered by Adeline, these quests often reward 75 Renown for completion along with other valuable items.
  • Story Quests: These are otherwise known as Town Repair quests. They give an average of 20 Renown for completion.
  • Local Requests are posted on the town board by local residents. Each one rewards 20 Renown, so complete as many as you can.
  • Museum Donations: Anytime you discover a new item that has the museum icon next to it unchecked, you can donate it to the Museum for Renown and completion of artifact sets (which lead to even more rewards).
  • Shipping Crops: This technically applies to both grown crops and items obtained from your livestock (e.g. Milk, Eggs, Wool, Feathers). The more you ship each day, the more Renown you’ll receive in turn for aiding the town. Check out this guide for the best crops for each season.

Complete the “Upgrade the Saturday Market Town” Repair Quest

The quest becomes available when you hit Town Level 65 and finish the “Stone Refinery” Town Repair task. Locate Adeline at Nora’s General Store. She’ll share that two new vendors are coming to Mistria’s Market on Saturday, though they can only set up shop if the materials needed for their booths near the Manor are gathered first. To help with this, Adeline will place a donation box at the Manor. You’ll need to find these specific items:

  • 20 Crystal
  • 8 Gold Ingot
  • 100 Hard Wood
  • 20 Obsidian
  • 50 Refined Stone

If you don’t currently possess these items, you will have to make a trip or several trips to the Mines as many of them are found there. Crystals can be obtained from the Deep Earth area (Levels 41-59) within the Mines, while Obsidian and Gold ores for Gold Ingots are mined from the Lava Cave region (Levels 61-79). Alternatively, you could buy Gold ores from the Blacksmith in town, but they can be quite costly. It’s usually more economical to mine them yourself.

Instead, there’s an even more efficient approach to reduce the time spent on these materials. To optimize your process, make sure the Stone Refinery is fixed and operational near the Mine entrance (as shown earlier). This way, you can utilize it to produce Obsidian and Crystals from common Stone. This shortcut will prove very useful, particularly if you’ve amassed a significant amount of Stone while mining in the Mines.

As a gamer, I can tell you that I’ve discovered a neat trick: I can refine my ordinary Stones into Refined Stone using the Stone Refinery. On the other hand, over on the east side of town lies the Deep Woods area, where I can collect plenty of Hard Wood. However, to access this spot, I need to have mastered the Dragon Breath spell first.

Complete the “Upgrade the Carpenter’s Shop Town” Repair Quest

To access this mission, ensure you have achieved Town Rank 65 and fulfilled the requirements of the Saturday Market Upgrade quest. Then, upgrade Ryis’ Carpenter’s Shop by depositing the necessary items into the donation box situated near the shop.

  • 30 Crystal
  • 100 Glass
  • 100 Refined Stone
  • 30 Obsidian

In your upcoming task, many of the required materials may seem recognizable as they were used in the previous upgrade mission. If you don’t already possess them, you’ll need to obtain them following the same method. It might be beneficial for you to gather these items during the Saturday Market upgrade mission to get a head start on your progress.

Glass can be acquired in Mines by defeating Enchantern foes or shattering containers like boxes or Crystals. Sometimes, it is also available for purchase at Balor’s Wagon, and Ryis sells them within the Carpenter’s Shop. If you have a substantial amount of money to spare, purchasing might be the more convenient option.

In addition to gaining access to the Home Upgrade, Ryis generously offers a complimentary design plan for a Small Greenhouse as a token of appreciation for finishing this quest. With a greenhouse, you’ll be able to cultivate crops without being limited by the seasons.

After collecting everything, head over for a chat with Adeline. Following this, a captivating scene unfolds as the shop undergoes its spectacular transformation, both outside and inside. Landen, Ryis’ father, will remind you to drop by and check out their latest projects, such as the eagerly awaited home improvement for you.

How to Build Home Upgrade 4 in Fields of Mistria

After the Home Upgrade 4 expansion has been released, as per standard practice, gather all the necessary resources needed to construct the upgrade itself. These components are listed below:

  • 200 Hard Wood
  • 100 Refined Stone
  • 30 Gold Ingot
  • 50,000t

You can get all the necessary materials using the methods detailed earlier. It would also be beneficial to stock up on these items as you work towards achieving the previous goals. This way, you’ll find yourself well-prepared to start constructing your dream farmhouse ahead of schedule.

All Home Upgrade 4 Changes

If you’re in need of additional room in your farmhouse, Home Upgrade 4 presents an excellent chance for further expansion. This upgrade actually adds a second story to the house, complete with three extra rooms on this new level. You can personalize these rooms just as you would any other part of your home. Access to the second floor is provided via stairs, a ladder, or a teleportation platform. Notably, this addition doesn’t alter the width of the exterior house, but instead increases the interior living space even more.

For each player, personal tastes vary; however, the second level offers a chance to shift bedroom items to an upstairs location, leaving functional spaces like kitchens and creative workstations on the ground floor in Mistria. If you aspire to have the largest farmhouse in town, this is the perfect moment to make it happen.
