Film Reel Location in Arc Raiders

Before the recent update, Film Reels in Arc Raiders were only good for selling. Now, with the new Flickering Flames project, players need to trade items like Film Reels to earn Merits and progress. Finding these reels can be tricky, so here’s a guide to the best places to farm them in Arc Raiders.

Where to Find Film Reel in Arc Raiders

During the Flickering Flames event, Film Reels are collectible items worth 2,000 coins each. You can also exchange them for 1,000 Merits in the project tab. These items are most commonly found in Residential and Old World areas on any map, so they shouldn’t be too hard to find.

Begin your search for Trinkets at the Pale Apartments or Ruby Residence in Dam Battlegrounds. These locations are particularly good during Night Raid, Electromagnetic Storms, or Cold Snap map conditions. Both buildings have plenty of cabinets and drawers to search, and you have a high chance of finding valuable, high-rarity items along with the Trinkets you need.

You can also try looking for the Film Reel in Stella Montis, which has several areas reminiscent of the Old World on its eastern side. It should be relatively easy to find there, but be aware that Stella Montis is known for being a popular spot for player-versus-player combat.

You’ll often encounter Raiders who attack immediately, without warning. Because of this, it’s best to equip yourself with a solid set of gear rather than relying on basic equipment.

Once you’ve traded the Film Reel, you can sell any extra items you’re holding, as the Trinket is no longer needed.
