Beginning today and running until August 28th, the partnership between Gong cha and Final Fantasy 14 has become active. As part of this promotion, players who purchase a total of three beverages from Gong cha in one transaction will receive the Porxie King mount as a gratis reward within the game.
In a recent Live Letter from the Producer, it was announced that Final Fantasy 14 is partnering with the globally recognized Taiwanese tea brand, Gong cha. Founded in 2006, this company has expanded rapidly, now boasting tea houses in over two dozen countries, including the US.
Starting now, the collaboration between Final Fantasy 14 and Gong cha is underway. Until August 28, fans who buy at least three teas from Gong cha in one go will receive a code for the Mog Station. This reward grants access to the Porxie King mount, which resembles the Portly Porxie obtained through quests in Shadowbringers, but with an adorable pink crown adorned on its head.

These special drinks come with charmingly designed cups featuring the characters while supplies last. Moreover, certain Gong cha outlets are offering collectible keychains as raffle prizes or through other means; however, it’s recommended to contact your local store for availability confirmation.

As a devoted gamer and fan of Final Fantasy 14, I’m bummed to share that the exciting Gong cha collaboration is mainly accessible in England, Belgium, France, Portugal, the USA, Canada, Panama, New Zealand, South Korea, and Japan. Despite its expansion in recent years, not every gamer can easily access one of these 200-plus stores in the United States or 70 in Canada. For those unlucky players who don’t have a Gong cha nearby, they might miss out on this new mount or consider embarking on a long journey with their Warrior of Light friends to reach one.
