I’ve been deeply engaged with Final Fantasy 14 lately, and while there’s been a fair share of buzz surrounding its recent controversies, it hasn’t all been doom and gloom. Those who haven’t used their Fantasia yet should secure it by August 4, as major updates usually include 24-hour downtime periods. The Fantasia typically retails for $10 on the Final Fantasy 14 Online Store, and once obtained, it can be kept permanently.

Acquiring Final Fantasy 14 Free 7.2 Patch Fantasia

If you haven’t obtained this specific Fantasia yet, it’s quite simple to acquire. You should head over to Old Gridania and locate the Wandering Moogle NPC. This character can be found at coordinates X:10.7 Y:6.4, which is near Apkallu Falls and the achievement reward NPC Jonathas.

If you prefer using aetherytes, you can warp to Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre or the Lancer’s Guild as both locations are approximately equally distant from the spot. Once there, all you need to do is chat with the Wandering Moogle, and if it hasn’t been obtained before, they will provide you with a free Fantasia.

Currently, the creators of “Final Fantasy 14” haven’t mentioned if a future free Fantasia update is on the horizon. The upcoming 7.3 patch will alter how hoods appear and introduce additional hats for Hrothgar and Viera, but no significant changes to characters’ overall looks have been revealed yet. Players who miss this chance or have already used their free Fantasias may need to visit the online store for another one.
