Final Fantasy 14 Reveals Update 7.35 Release Date

The next update for *Final Fantasy 14*, Patch 7.35, is coming out on October 7th. It will feature a special event based on *Monster Hunter Wilds*, plus new content like the Pilgrim’s Traverse dungeon, a new questline for crafting jobs, and the continuation of the popular Hildibrand story.

The biggest highlight of Final Fantasy 14’s 7.35 update is a collaboration with Monster Hunter Wilds. This event features an 8-player battle against a powerful foe called Guardian Arkveld. Players who win will earn cool cosmetic items like Veldian weapons, the Hope armor set, new mounts and minions, and decorations for their houses. Guardian Arkveld will be available on both Normal and Extreme difficulties, and all the Monster Hunter Wilds content will stay in the game permanently. To participate, Final Fantasy 14 players need to be at least level 100 and have finished the main story quest called “Dawntrail”.

Final Fantasy 14’s 7.35 Update Release Date

  • October 7, 2025

During a presentation at Tokyo Game Show 2025, the developers of *Final Fantasy 14* announced that Patch 7.35 will be released on Tuesday, October 7th. This update, arriving alongside content inspired by *Monster Hunter Wilds*, will give players even more to do. Those who enjoy challenging combat can explore Pilgrim’s Traverse, a new deep dungeon set in the magical land of Il Mheg. Players will investigate secrets hidden beneath King Titania’s castle. To access Pilgrim’s Traverse, players need to have completed at least floor 50 of the Palace of the Dead (the first deep dungeon), finished the main story quest “Endwalker,” and have a character class leveled to 91 or higher. Once completed, Pilgrim’s Traverse features a particularly difficult “Quantum” battle against the final boss, designed for groups of up to four players.

Okay, so Patch 7.35 is going to let me dive into the final questline for the Yok Huy society in Dawntrail! As a crafter, I’ll be able to do a new quest each day to build up my rep with them and snag some exclusive goodies. And if you’re like me and loved the Hildibrand adventures, get ready – the next part of that hilarious story is dropping with this patch too! I’m really excited to jump back in.

October 7th is set to be a big day for online role-playing games. That’s when *World of Warcraft*, a major competitor to *Final Fantasy 14*, will release its 11.2.5 update. It will be interesting to see which of the new features in *Final Fantasy 14*’s Patch 7.35 players try out first.
