Final Fantasy 7 Remake Just Flew In from the Graveyard Key Location

Okay, so I was wandering around the Sector 7 slums in Final Fantasy 7 Remake and ran into this NPC named Gwen. She had a side quest for me called “Just Flew in From the Graveyard,” but there was a catch! I had to finish another side quest first – “Nuisance In The Factory” from the Junk Dealer – before I could even start it. A bit of a chain quest, but hey, I’m always up for more stuff to do in Final Fantasy 7 Remake!

You can find Gwen just outside the factory entrance, near the guards and the locked gate. She’ll ask you to go back into the Abandoned Talagger Factory to open a door and defeat the Cerulean Drake. Be aware that you’ll need to find a Watch Security Key near the gate to do this, but the game doesn’t give you any hints about its location.

How to Find the Key During the ‘Just Flew In From the Graveyard’ Side Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Remake

To find the security key for the “Just Flew in From the Graveyard” quest in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, start by going into the Abandoned Talagger Factory, which is near a gate close to Gwen. Walk through the factory until you find a building with several Gorgers inside. After defeating them, leave through the door you didn’t come in through and immediately turn left.

Players will then enter a room with Gorgers and a staircase. At the back of the room is a switch that fans of FF7 Remake should activate to unlock a new doorway. Just outside this doorway, on the left, are three crates. Destroying these crates will give players the watch security key for Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Here’s a picture of the locked door location and where to find the crates with the key:

Once players have the watch security key, they can progress in the FF7 Remake quest “Just Flew in From the Graveyard” by returning to the room with the stairs and going through the door at the top.

Continuing along this route, you’ll find a room filled with Gorgers and a panel that opens with the security watch key. Beyond that, Cloud and Tifa will encounter the Cerulean Drake.

How to Beat Cerulean Drake in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade

The Cerulean Drake shouldn’t be too difficult for your team. To defeat it quickly, equip Wind Materia to either Tifa or Cloud. You can earn this Materia by finishing Chadley’s second Battle Intel Report in town. However, any long-range magic spells will also work well, as the Drake doesn’t have any weaknesses. Once you’ve defeated it, head straight back to Gwen to save time.

What’s the Reward for Completing ‘Just Flew in From the Graveyard’ Quest in FF7 Remake

When you return to Gwen, she’ll give you the Star Bracelet as a reward. It doesn’t offer much protection, but it can equip up to two Materia.
