This update builds on Hamaguchi’s comments from late 2024, where he stated the next *Final Fantasy 7* game was making good progress, suggesting development is on track.
Hamaguchi recently shared more details about *Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3* in an interview with JPGames. He mentioned the team has already chosen a central theme, or keyword, to guide the game’s story and gameplay. While he didn’t reveal what that keyword is, it’s interesting to note that previous entries used “reunion” and “bonds,” suggesting the next game might also focus on relationships and connections between characters.
While fans eagerly await its release, Square Enix seems to have a target date in mind for *Final Fantasy Remake Part 3*. Director Tetsuya Nomura recently mentioned the team is working hard to finish the game and meet that date. Although rumors suggest a release between 2027 and 2028, positive updates about development progress suggest it might arrive sooner than expected, giving fans reason to be optimistic.
