In some instances, the game is designed so that heroes manage to prevail in battles where they might not have stood a chance otherwise. This is done to provide a satisfying victory rather than a disappointing loss, especially against formidable enemies who are temporarily weakened at crucial moments.

It was surprising that he didn’t use even a tiny fraction of his immense power during the battles against the heroes. Instead, he seemed weak and incompetent, unable to defend himself or demonstrate why he deserved his title as the deity of this new realm.

In the heat of anticipation for the third installment of Final Fantasy 13, I, as a die-hard fan, found myself pondering the unknown. The return of Lightning promised an epic tale, but it was her newfound abilities that truly intrigued me. As a formidable hero, she could traverse the world alone and, even more fascinatingly, alter her attire to unlock distinct advantages in battle. This added layer of customization made the wait all the more exciting!

Following his resurrection by Bhunivelze, it’s revealed that he was manipulating Lightning to serve his sinister ambitions. Somehow, Lightning grows incredibly powerful and faces off against the god single-handedly. Despite Bhunivelze having a supposed superior power level at this point, Lightning delivers him an epic beating.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but marvel at the unforgettable villainy that is Chaos in Final Fantasy lore. Born from Garland’s seething hatred, this menacing figure refused to accept defeat even after being struck down by the Warriors of Light. Instead, his malice fueled him to journey back through time, transforming into an embodiment of pure evil itself.

Consequently, the heroes find themselves compelled to journey back to his domain and confront him in his own territory. Given their opponent’s divine nature, this task would ordinarily have been insurmountable for them; however, they miraculously emerged victorious against this godlike adversary, thus breaking the world’s cycle of darkness and evil.

Enthusiasts of the classic Final Fantasy 7 often recall the challenging series of battles against the final boss, which includes a confrontation with a twisted version of Sephiroth known as Bizarro Sephiroth. During this fight, players may engage from various angles and it’s evident that the battle was designed for experienced, high-level groups.

Despite the fact that Sephiroth Reborn maintains his original appearance at the conclusion of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, it seems rather improbable that Cloud and the gang, who should be far below his league, are capable of defeating him. This discrepancy leaves some Final Fantasy 7 traditionalists questioning how the narrative, which has only just reached the end of disc one, can present a party of heroes with the strength required to vanquish late-game Sephiroth.

After receiving Joshua’s remaining powers, the protagonist unexpectedly taps into the common power found in many role-playing games known as friendship’s unique ability. This leaves Ultima stunned, who was overpowered and humiliated as his wicked schemes crumbled swiftly.

Fighting On Ultimecia’s Turf Didn’t Do Anything To Strengthen This Powerful Sorceress

In simpler terms, the notion of challenging an extremely powerful sorceress who manipulates time within her own realm didn’t appear to be a very intelligent strategy. Although it resulted in an exciting final dungeon with striking visuals, it was somewhat confusing when Squall and his companions somehow defeated Ultimecia in her castle.

It’s quite disappointing when a seemingly unexpected villain is introduced at the last minute, only to be defeated easily, thus reducing her impact and intrigue as an adversary. The battle should have concluded with our SeeD operatives being trapped in the time warp created by Ultimecia, but instead, everything worked out fine, following the predictable pattern common in traditional Final Fantasy games.

2. Ignis Scientia VS Ardyn Izunia, AKA Ardyn Lucis Caelum

Even With The Power Of The Ring Of The Lucii, Ardyn’s Might Should’ve Been Overwhelming

In the alternate scenario depicted by “Episode Ignis,” Noctis manages to survive his ultimate confrontation against Ardyn. The standard storyline has Ignis employing the Ring of the Lucii to amplify his abilities and engage Ardyn in a breathtaking fight. However, in this instance, the prince refrains from giving his all during the battle.

In a different version of events, I found myself squaring off against a fully empowered Ardyn. Now, despite wielding the Ring of the Lucii, I was essentially an imposter in that final confrontation, yet somehow I managed to stand toe-to-toe with Ardyn in this fierce battle. It was almost unbelievable!

Hugo Kupka is an intriguing antagonist, deceived into believing that Clive dishonored the remains of his beloved. In their initial confrontation, he seeks out Clive and ends up losing both his hands in the skirmish. Subsequently, a monumental rematch unfolds.

In this grand encounter, Titan’s size suggested that Clive wouldn’t stand a chance in the battle. However, against all odds, he surprisingly outmuscles Kupka who is more skilled in harnessing Ifrit’s power. Clive then delivers an impressive series of powerful blows.
