Fire Emblem Heroes: Confer Blessing, Explained (Seasonal Buffs)

As a seasoned gamer with extensive experience in mobile strategy games, I can’t help but be impressed by the depth and complexity of Fire Emblem Heroes. One particular aspect that sets this game apart is the Confer Blessing feature. This system adds an exciting layer to the gameplay, allowing players to enhance their non-Legendary and non-Mythic heroes during specific seasons.

Fire Emblem Heroes is a mobile game where you collect and strategically deploy characters from the Fire Emblem series to overcome various end-game battles. Given the dynamic nature of the battles, it’s crucial to build diverse teams to adapt and thrive.

In the game “Fire Emblem Heroes,” there’s an element players should consider: the weekly changing bonuses for their Heroes through Seasonal boosts. To maximize these advantages, players need to employ the Confer Blessing function alongside Legendary and Mythic Heroes. This guide will elucidate the concept of Confer Blessing and how to utilize it effectively.

What is Confer Blessing?

Fire Emblem Heroes: Confer Blessing, Explained (Seasonal Buffs)

Players can bestow elemental blessings upon common Heroes through the Confer Blessing feature, allowing them to gain abilities typically exclusive to Legendary and Mythic Heroes during battle. Not all of these blessings become active under normal circumstances; some require particular conditions to be met first. (Similar to: Players can grant elemental blessings to regular Heroes via the Confer Blessing function, enabling them to harness special abilities belonging to Legendary and Mythic Heroes during combat. However, not all of these blessings take effect unless specific prerequisites are met.)

Eight kinds of Elemental Blessings exist, derived from the Legendary and Mythic Heroes. The perks of the former apply across all game modes, whereas those of the latter are restricted solely to Aether Raids.

How to Use Confer Blessing

As an avid player, I’d be happy to guide you through the process of bestowing blessings on your non-Legendary and non-Mythic heroes. To get started, simply navigate to the “Ally Growth” section, which can be found under the “Allies” tab. Once there, look for the “Confer Blessing” option.

  • Each time players receive a copy of a Legendary or Mythic Hero, they will receive a Blessing item for their corresponding element.
  • Rewards from various game modes, such as Allegiance Battles, Aether Raids, Events, Special Maps, and Blessed Gardens.

To change the elemental blessing on a hero, players must use another blessing item in place of the current one.

What Does Confer Blessing Do?

As a devoted fan, I’d describe it this way: Each revered Hero I possess gains two remarkable benefits. The first advantage is an unconditional bonus that doubles Experience Points (XP) and Skill Points (SP) earned in every battle. The second boon is a stat enhancement that becomes active exclusively during the corresponding elemental Seasons. However, to unlock this perk, I must include a Legendary or Mythic Hero of the same element on my team.

In simple terms, both Legendary and Mythic blessings bestow a Health Point (HP) enhancement on recipients, accompanied by a secondary bonus that is hero-specific. For instance, Azura, the Songstress of Water among legends, grants HP plus 3 and an additional Resistance bonus of 4 to her water-aligned teammates during seasons favoring water. These bonuses persist even if Azura herself succumbs in battle.

When multiple Legendary or Mythic Heroes, who bestow stat blessings, are present on a team during the same season, their effects can combine and enhance each other.

Each week, the Season undergoes a reset on Tuesdays. Every Season comprises two Legendary elements and two Mythic elements in specific pairings. The Legendary element combinations can vary, but the Mythic elements follow a consistent pattern: they alternate between the Light-Dark and Astra-Anima paired Seasons. Players can easily identify the current Season’s elements by glancing at the top left corner of their interface, next to their stamina.

Mythic Heroes offer extra benefits in Aether Raids beyond stat enhancements when teamed up with characters bearing their specific Blessings. Units blessed with Light or Astra will raise the amount of Aether gained following successful attacks, while those endowed with Dark or Anima will lessen the Aether lost upon unsuccessful defenses.

During the unpredictable Chaos Seasons in Aether Raids, Legendary and Mythic bonuses and abilities are temporarily put on hold.
