Fire Emblem Heroes: Should You Pull for Lilian or Edelgard

Fire Emblem Heroes: Should You Pull for Lilian or Edelgard

As a long-time Fire Emblem: Heroes player with years of experience under my belt, I have seen many banners come and go. Some were worth pulling for, while others, not so much. With that being said, this current banner leaves me feeling indifferent.

As an avid fan of Fire Emblem: Heroes, I eagerly anticipate the arrival of new banners in this gacha game. With each banner comes the chance to use my hard-earned orbs to potentially acquire incredible units. Currently, there’s an exciting running banner featuring Legendary & Mythic Hero Remix: Nótt. I can hardly wait to see what this iconic hero brings to the table!

Based on my personal experience and assessment of the banner units, I’d be happy to share my thoughts with you. While this banner does boast some impressive characters, I’ve found that determining which ones are truly top-notch can depend on various factors such as your current roster, playstyle, and goals in the game.

Legendary & Mythic Hero Remix: Nótt Banner Overview

Fire Emblem Heroes: Should You Pull for Lilian or Edelgard

With the Legendary & Mythic Hero Remix: Nótt Banner, players are given a complimentary summons at the beginning. Subsequent summons will require the use of orbs.

Every time a player uses this banner to summon a character forty times, they will be rewarded with a single, free, five-star hero and a celestial stone.

Characters Featured in Legendary & Mythic Hero Remix: Nótt Banner

In The Epic Reimagining of Legendary Heroes: Nótt Banner, we find a cast of eight intriguing characters. Among them are:

Nótt – Moon’s Elegance

“Boosts allies’ progress and amplifies benefits while enduring enemy initial assaults, retaliating afterwards.”

Nött, the prominent figure on this banner, returns with enhanced abilities. She has acquired two new skills: “Distant Dar” and “Moon-Twin Wing+”. Players now have the opportunity to upgrade her weapon, Hrímfaxi.

Líf – Lethal Sword

He can consistently activate his unique ability, resulting in consecutive attacks and neutralizing the impact of damage-reducing effects.

Lilian – Firelight Leader

Each turn, she unleashes a strong special attack that strikes down enemies. Plus, she provides Canto to her and surrounding allies within a broad range.

Reinhardt – Thrud Reborn

“His Arcane Weapon speeds up his Special and nullifies foe bonuses to Spd/Res! Also helps allies position.”

Edelgard – Flame Emperor

“Moves on its own, performs actions, and retaliates with counterattacks when there are no companions around. It can also ward off initial attacks and following hits.”

Ced – Sage of the Wind

He can frequently unleash his unique ability, boosting the damage of his other skills. Accelerates the readiness of special moves for infantry teammates.

Robin – Fell Vassel

“This cancels the effectiveness of flying-type attacks against it and negates their impact from any distance. Furthermore, it enhances its own statistics and decreases the power of opponents’ Special moves.”

Leif – Unifier of Thracia

“With a hastened Special trigger, he can deal more damage across two actions and two attacks!”

Best Characters in Legendary & Mythic Hero Remix: Nótt Banner

In regards to this banner, two figures catch the eye. These figures boast a legendary impact: they represent fire, making them invaluable during periods when fires are prevalent.

Lilian, the Firelight Leader

Fire Emblem Heroes: Should You Pull for Lilian or Edelgard

Lillian, who hails from the Binding Blade and is Hector’s child, is an excellent choice in this banner. To obtain her, players must select a red orb during their summoning attempt.

Her stats at level 40 and her skills are as follows:

HP

39

ATTACK

56

SPEED

21

DEFENSE

16

RESISTANCE

40

Gifted Magic II

Prior to engaging in battle, enemies surrounding the targeted unit sustain damage equivalent to the difference between the attacking unit’s Attack stat and the enemy’s Defense or Resistance. Before any combat ensues. Following an attack, Assist skill usage, or destruction of a structure, the unit is granted the ability [Canto (1)] for one turn. This bonus is bestowed upon both the user and adjacent allies within a 3×3 grid. Even if the unit’s HP reaches zero during this time. After executing an attack, the unit may move up to one space. The movement type applies. Limit: once per turn. The unit cannot assault or aid another during this maneuver. Only the most advantageous effect is implemented. This extra action can be triggered by skills such as Galeforce following the initial action. The base movement of the unit does not affect the Canto-granted mobility. The unit is unable to warp (employing abilities like Wings of Mercy) a greater distance than it normally could using Canto’s movement capability.

Atk/Res Solo 4

If the unit is not adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/Res+7 during combat.

Sabotage A/R 3

When a turn begins and an enemy is adjacent to another enemy with a higher Resistance (defense against magical attacks) than that enemy, the unit touches grants them a debuff of Atk/Res-6 for their subsequent action. During combat, if the unit has a higher Resistance than the enemy, it inflicts a variable debuff on the enemy’s Attack and Resistance based on the highest penalties on each stat between the target and enemies within a 2-space radius. (The calculation is made independently for each stat.)

Pulse Smoke 3

After a battle, the target and enemies within two spaces of the target have their special cooldowns increased by one count. This doesn’t affect special cooldowns that are already fully charged.

Lilian’s weapon, Studied Forblaze is a range 2 weapon. It accelerates cooldowns and can buff Lilian if her HP is below 25%.

Edelgard, the Flame Emperor

Fire Emblem Heroes: Should You Pull for Lilian or Edelgard

One unit the player can never go wrong with is Edelgard, a character from the game Three Houses. She is incredibly useful when no allies around her and will be quite dependable. The player needs green orbs to have a chance of pulling her. Here are her stats at level 40 and her skills:

HP

45

ATTACK

61

SPEED

17

DEFENSE

39

RESISTANCE

36

Bonefire

Boosts damage by 50% of unit’s Def.

Atk/Res Ideal 4

During the initiation of battle, if a unit’s Health Points are fully charged (at 100%) and its Bonus ability is activated, it will receive a boost of +7 to both Attack and Resistance. Conversely, under similar conditions, the unit will acquire an extra +2 to its Attack and Resistance during combat due to the Bonus’s effect. Note that the Bonus pertains to transient enhancements, encompassing skills like Rally or Hone, as well as temporary positive status effects such as additional movement or Dominance.

Raging Storm Il

If a unit engages in battle, it gains an additional action if that unit isn’t next to an ally following the fight. (Limit once per turn. Take note that if any ability moving the unit is activated post-combat, consider the unit’s new position.) At the onset of combat, if a unit has more than 25% HP or stands alone without an adjacent ally, it inflicts Atk/Def reduction by 5 on the enemy and guarantees a follow-up attack during the battle. Additionally, should the adversary employ dragonstone or beast damage, it nullifies any hindrances obstructing the unit’s follow-up attacks in combat.

Armored Stride 3

During the initial stage of a turn, if a unit isn’t neighboring with an alliance member, that unit is permitted to move an additional space (only during that specific turn, and this benefit does not accumulate).

As a long-time strategy game enthusiast and avid player of this particular title, I’ve come to truly appreciate the unique strengths of this unit. When she stands alone on the battlefield, her true potential shines through. Not only does she earn extra turns, but she excels in defensive roles, making her an invaluable asset in tough situations.

Should You Pull or Skip this Banner?

Based on my own gaming experiences, I would advise against pulling on this banner in the game, despite the fact that none of the characters depicted seem particularly unappealing. From my perspective, it’s often wiser to go for the free first pull instead. In my experience, I’ve found that the free pulls can sometimes yield surprisingly great results, and you never know – you might just get lucky and obtain a character you really love! Plus, by skipping this banner, you’ll save up your resources for future opportunities that might better suit your needs or preferences. So, trust me on this one – go for the free pull, and you might be glad you did!

As a dedicated gamer, I’d put it this way: “If any characters in this banner are intended for merge projects, they’re an exception. Some of these characters might not return for a while. If you need them for your game, don’t hesitate to use your orbs and try to get them now.”

The player has the option to summon a particular character for the purpose of acquiring skills, and this is perfectly valid too.
