Ever since its debut in March, gamers have been captivated by the demanding Souls-like adventure offered by “The First Berserker: Khazan”. Since then, it’s had a consistent flow of patches and enhancements. Now, Neople is preparing to reveal their extensive May content update. This update is slated for release on May 15th, introducing fresh Ultimate Challenge modes and additional features to help players discover new ways to test their abilities and reach new pinnacles in their “The First Berserker: Khazan” escapades.

As a passionate gamer diving into the world of The First Berserker: Khazan, I’m excited to share some insights straight from Creative Director Junho Lee’s recent developer note on Steam. In his letter to fellow gamers like us, he mentioned that they’re working on a new game mode, but it’s not just about making the game harder—it needs to be engaging, fun, and challenging in a meaningful way.

The upcoming May update for The First Berserker: Khazan is set to bring two fresh Boss Rush Ultimate Challenge modes that will definitely test our skills and make us feel like we’ve accomplished something significant after overcoming them. So buckle up, fellow gamers, as we gear up for a tougher, more rewarding gaming experience!

With the May update, not only are there new challenge modes introduced, but also a Character Customization feature is included. This feature can be accessed at the beginning of the game and is obtainable upon completion of the Blacksmith’s Heirloom mission. Players will now have the freedom to personalize their characters as they please. However, it’s worth noting that the most anticipated aspect of this upcoming update is the addition of the new Ultimate Challenge Modes. Let’s take a closer look at what we can expect.

New Ultimate Challenge Modes Coming to The First Berserker: Khazan On May 15th

The special Boss Rush Challenge modes can be accessed only after players finish the game for the first time. Upon completing the game, a fresh option on the main menu will appear. This move is intended to prevent fans from encountering the new bosses prematurely in the game’s narrative. Once you’ve wrapped up the initial storyline, you’ll be granted access to the new Boss Rush modes. Here’s what awaits you in these challenges.

Boss Rush: Great General’s Crucible

In this gaming mode, participants are tasked with battling successive waves of boss characters, categorized by specific themes. As you conquer each theme, the next one becomes accessible. To emerge victorious in each battle, you’ll need to strategize using specified character abilities or skills. Those who successfully defeat every wave of bosses will receive a unique prize.

Boss Rush: Berserker’s Bloodshed

In this mode, your character’s power grows after each successive battle, giving you enhancements that make your character stronger. As you progress, you’ll face tougher opponents leading up to the ultimate boss battle. Defeating the final boss will grant you powerful new equipment and advancements, but only if you manage to emerge victorious.

Starting from May 15th (tentatively), you’ll gain access to the freshly introduced Bosh Rush modes and Change Appearance features with the arrival of our upcoming update, titled The First Berserker: Khazan. However, please note that this date is tentative as the content is currently undergoing quality checks.

Following the May update, we’re also developing additional fresh content concurrently. The upcoming update, however, will primarily concentrate on enhancing user experience by introducing features like quick travel items, teleportation between Blade Nexuses, and starting from the Spectral Portal upon completion of specific missions instead of the Mortal World. This update is tentatively scheduled for either late May or early June, but it won’t be our final one. After that, Neople and Nexon will continue to strive for further advancements and balance changes in the future.
